when did I blame the coli? vince fired her because one coli member @Busby is literally the one who brought it to light on twitter which is how it spread like wildfire to get to vince's attention dumbass, and everybody rightfully went in on him
but keep putting the cape on for nikkas like this
Probably got fired for doing the interview. It’s been known for years that writers don’t really need to know the product. However this is the first time, I can recall, that an active writer did an interview exposing this. Matter of fact, it’s the first interview I’ve heard from an active writer that’s not a wrestler or celebrity. I probably would have fired her too. Seems like the type to have loose lips and leak storylines to her friends
Y’all funny. When it comes to those old deleted tweets of mine:
I have since apologized for making those statements and admitted that was a fukk up on my part. But i find it funny when y’all hold to those screenshots and tried to pull a “Gotcha!”
Y’all cute
Now when it comes to this whole situation right here. I was just the messenger. I had no “agenda.” I was just bringing light to something that has since been documented and was reported on by other wrestling sites.
This has NOTHING to do with her being a black woman. What this is about is how she freely went on a public platform and said how that not only does she not know the product she is writing for. But she got the names wrong of one of their top superstars and kinda didn’t care about it.
The fact that shyt doesn’t compute to yall is quite to me..
Yes i do know that WWE has hired countless writers through out the years that have zero knowledge of their product. But they didn’t PUBLICLY go on another platform giving interviews about their job and how they just don’t know what they are doing WHILE THEY WORKED THERE. No matter HOW you spin it, it’s a bad look.
And who gives a fukk if she did that podcast back in early June. SHE STILL SAID IT!
As black folks y’all should know we need to be on our Ps and Q’s at ALL times. ESPECIALLY at that company. And they will find ANY reason to get rid of us after one fukk up. And that’s EXACTLY what happened right here.
I didn’t “celebrate” her firing. I was more at you jackasses giving every excuse in the world on why it was okay for that person to do what she did. And now you want to attack ME like I’m the reason she got axed
This is a “Bret Screwed Bret” situation.
If a writer did that at ANY other production company they would have been fired as well.
Imagine a writer doing an interview at Entertainment Weekly and saying “Yeah Im the new writer for ‘Breaking Bad’ but I never watched any episodes of it. I know i have to write about this guy named Walter Black?….or Walter White…something like that I should know that and he is a teacher that makes drugs or something. I don’t know, all I know is I’m getting paid for it “
It’s pretty cut and dry my friends…
This is gonna be the last time i talk about this.
Take this as a lesson u stupid motherfukkas.
Hell son, you'll be back after Twitter's done with you. This is gonna be the last time i talk about this.
"its not about race!!!!"
the girl on the bottom is one of the other black women that got hired at the same time as Kenice in early June who the IWC unsuccessfully attempted to cancel before this latest situation by the way
trust me I know exactly what kind of bottom of the barrel people wrestling attracts but it doesnt help when a black man is helping embolden them or when a majority "black" forum acts like their racism didnt play a part in this blowing up how it did because it fits their agendaIt always cracks me up when people are shocked at how trash wrestling fandom is writ large.
she obviously wasnt fired because shes black when she got hired alongside 3 other black women and I never said that, all im saying is the fans reaction to her quote was rooted in racismWhile I do believe that weirdos that follow wrestling on the internet had a problem with what ol' girl said mostly because it came from a black woman, I don't think that's why she got fired.
If you're at ANY job, and word gets out about you matter of factly stating that you didn't need to know much about your new job, you're going to have problems.
That said, y'all gotta just be up from when y'all are gonna just pursue Coli beef. Y'all really tryna say somebody who posts on here with all of 4500 followers really moved the needle enough to get someone fired.
Just say you don't like the clown ass fukk shyt he says on Twitter and roast him like anybody else normally would.
Story pacing character development and ending in the WWE all depends on Vince and if he is in a good mood or not on that particular day. What he likes now doesn't mean he'll like it in 2 hours time let alone 2 weeks time.
I guess I have a somewhat simplistic view on it because I've worked for scriptwriters previously and done plenty of character background bios for the writers to work off from their ideas for those characters. Obviously writing is hard but if you know how things work on TV productions then it's not as hard as some people making it out to be.
They have to write about the drama surrounding their lives and basketball. Playing ball is secondary.
The only comment in a 50+ post TSC thread that views WWE hiring black women writers as a positive
proof TSC has been invaded by cacs *FILED & UNDERSTOOD*
This.... cause I've definitely seen "fans", that "know about wrestling" and think they would do a sooooo much better job, come up with some awful ass ideas that would play out just as terribly if not worse on tv.
Personally, I think it'd be much better with a smaller circle for each show consisting of people in the business who actually do know this shyt and have experience in what works.
But hiring "fans" who'd probably make everything to favor their personal favorites and maybe have 3 good ideas would likely fare just as poorly as hiring TV writers who don't watch it.
These writers ain't booking the matches anyway, that's what the producers and Vince do.
hiring a writer that knows nothing about wrestling can't be any worse than a wrestling aficionado who thought stuff like CM Punk's "pipe bomb", Matt Hardy's delete bullshyt were good. shyt, just look at AEW in general. I assume its all wrestling people over there and...
entrenched wrestling fans are miserable idiots with bad taste.
so her going in with a blank slate not trying to please a certain crowd can only be a good thing.
she'll be alright.
She probably shouldn't have done that interview or at least not been as candid while doing it.
That's ridiculous. You should know the audience you're writing for.
it'd be like hiring a country musician to write rap records because, "Hey, it's all just music"
Same notes, same chords
So, you'd hire Shakespeare to write a Hip-Hop drama?
Right because ZERO Black women know anything about wrestling.
You know how many female ex-wrestlers would've been better off in that spot from Jacqueline, to Jazz, to Kia Stevens, who's worked in Hollywood on TV shows.
You just contradicted yourself.
You just admit that it's better for people in the business, who actually do know the shyt to be the ones writing the show.
Well, look at the best bookers, they were "fans".
Guys like Cornette, Heyman, Rhodes, Jarrett, Watts, etc. . .were all wrestling fans before they got in the business.
They didn't just walk off the street and decide they were going to write wrestling.
First off, as mediocre as AEW is, it's still better than WWE and so is Ring of Honor, MLW, and New Japan.
Guess who writes those?
Comedy writers who know nothing about wrestling?
No.
2nd of all, AEW's problem is that they have guys like Ross, Schiavone, Roberts, Anderson, Dean Malenko, and Lynn backstage, but the guy writing the show has never been involved in the business, in Tony Khan.
This.
Only a moron would admit to being fully unqualified for their job.
It takes an elite level of wrestling expertise to be able to come up with "Conservative white male with black pregnant wife fights for the honor and pride of the amazing land of equal opportunity known as America all in the name of patriotism against a biracial evil foreigner from the UK who draped a flag over him"And how do you write wrestling for WWE?
What is so complex about wrestling storylines and the themes used within them that are different from everyday life? We're talking about a company that signed off on and aired giving birth to a hand necrophilia and Carlito running into a wall amongst other things.
