You just contradicted yourself.

You just admit that it's better for people in the business, who actually do know the shyt to be the ones writing the show.

Well, look at the best bookers, they were "fans".

Guys like Cornette, Heyman, Rhodes, Jarrett, Watts, etc. . .were all wrestling fans before they got in the business.

They didn't just walk off the street and decide they were going to write wrestling.

How is that a contradiction? That's what I'm referring to... people who didn't just show up and start making creative decisions because they watched it on TV. All those people you named actually had to become part of the business and get a better understanding of it than "I want the guys i like to win". They were able to write actual storylines, think of characters, build feuds... not "I want the guys I like to win", which is what it usually boils down to with most "fans" who think a better show is one where their favorites are winning whether it even makes sense or not. Totally different things.

And how do you write wrestling for WWE?

What is so complex about wrestling storylines and the themes used within them that are different from everyday life? We're talking about a company that signed off on and aired giving birth to a hand necrophilia and Carlito running into a wall amongst other things.

How do you write rap for Def Jam Records?:ohhh:

What is so complex about talking over a beat and themes of street life?:ohhh:

We're talking about a company that had the Beastie Boys singing about "brass monkeys"

See how ridiculous that sounds?:gucci:

stopped reading right there..
c'mon now, theres no need to lie. most of the people who watch AEW don't even believe that.

I do and I do. :ehh:

AEW is mediocre, but I'm not actively angered by it's stupidity the way I am when I used to watch WWE:yeshrug:

They're just amateurish.

WWE is an actively offensively bad

But those guys were all fans first, right?:gucci:

They weren't comedy writers who had never watched wrestling before.

That's my point. :francis:

I was asking you how do you write wrestling? As you like typing so much thinking you would give examples of intricacies and nuances and your deflected answer and example is early days of hip-hop and a song from 35 years ago about an alcoholic drink and partying/having a good time.

That podcast excerpt was so bad. It just showed a total lack of awareness. Even if you know zero about a company you’re going into, you keep that to yourself, not actually verbalize it. And she did it in almost a bragging way. Anyone would get fired for that.
