Pedophiles can kick rocks, I'll agree with that because it's an attraction they cannot control. However, someone that commits a "violent crime" is too broad a term and will no doubt include the 16 year old Black kid that beats up a white kid, will be charged as an adult and catch a felony assault charge then have their lives ruined even after they serve their time.

Like others have pointed out, this will no doubt be extended to other crimes in the future as well.
life ruined because they cant get food stamps?
What!?

and that slippery slope argument is lame when Republicans use it, and its lame when liberals use it.

Horrible move

Food is probably the last thing you wanna fuk wit. Nice cars and clothes? Nikkas can pass on...but not food.

Grocery store/convenience store theft is going to increase, thus more prisoners and more tax dollars to feeding prisoners. Its almost like they want this cycle to continue, how can someone with a criminal record really get out the system if they can't get a job, and now wont be able to get food stamps?

Sometimes i wonder if they actually think these decisions through, or if they just pass these bills out of anger :smh:

You're talking about the people who commit crimes, right?

they make more money off you as a prisoner then they will you being free

can't find a job on the streets, but they'll employ you for pennies on the dollar inside that prison plant to manufacture for corporations

and when the prison's nationwide become flooded they'll open the FEMA camps
:patrice:

You want the government to assist you, then you should obey the law:umad:

Pretty much. It amazes me to see how many people simply can't control themselves from robbing, stealing, raping, killing, selling dope etc. In this country, in this day and age, we live like kings. I laugh at those who have sympathy for someone who chooses to be a fukkup, over and over and over again. I know there are some cases where a kid is raised in an environment where he/she is fukked from the get go. But at a certain age, everyone knows right from wrong. Some people just can't resist the temptation to have everything all at once no matter what the cost. Too bad too sad for you when you have to serve time while the rest of us go to work or school every day doing things in a civil manner. Nobody really likes to get up every morning and go to a menial job, but thats life. Much better than waking up every day behind bars. When you're an adult, and you choose to be a fukkup, I have no sympathy for you or your actions. Nobody owes you a thing.

Good to see upstanding citizens on here:salute:

I'm not one of these frontin cats on here. I dont make 100k a year. I need every dollar I get, but as much of a struggle as it is, I have never been tempted to do illegal shyt to get money. I hate my job, but I guess it's better to have one than not. The fukk I look like jeapordizing my FREEDOM just to get a few extra dollars. I see ppl that came home from doin bids, and in a weird way, I have a respect for them for the fact that they threw away a part of their lives, yet made it thru the jail sentence. I refuse to go down that path. I admit that I can attribute a majority of that to my support system.

I got a cousin in Chicago, who been spoiled since birth. He cant stay away from trouble. I look at him like :beli:

Great concept to protect citizens. Man commits violent crime, gets convicted, will be released and never hired, will become hungry and need food, government says no, literally is left with doing what he knows and robbing/murdering for food become his only option. Then a citizen dies and he gets life...and FREE FOOD from the gov any fukking way

smh...take your head out of your azz for a second. and think about what im saying.

this is not about feeling bad for criminals. or giving them a pass. this is about the outcome of this bill once it passes.

the goverment obviously is trying to cut down the criminal behaviour. this bill will INCREASE criminal behaviour. thats all im saying.

its like you guys arent able to think outside the box :snoop:

not a hard concept to follow....

people in here want you to think it would be the downfall of society in America :snoop:

It would be such a huge leap in the right direction

Imagine if the law was followed by everybody:blessed:

Reminds me of a movie that is comin out where everybody abides by the law 364 days out of the yr.

Im not one of these Black ppl that make excuses for my race or blame white ppl for their problems.

Walking around free everyday, getting tail when I want>>>>walking around with my head on a swivel looking out for cops, enemies, whoever...and trying to stay out of jail again.

:aicmon:These clowns could easily be living in a country where they don't even have a process to "rehabilitate". They are lucky to even have another chance, just because they live here. Its basic human nature, don't live a fukked up life and screw people over all the time, and people will be willing and able to help you out when you really need it. The overwhelming majority of these criminals knew the risk involved when they did whatever it is they did to even become a felon. They should have thought about all of that before they did whatever it is they did to become a felon. Excuse me if I'm not the person to cater to a career criminal because he can't have access to public aid. You act as if thats the only reason he would return to crime. :childplease: Most return to criminal shyt the moment they get out. You think a revocation of food stamps is whats going to set them off?:snooze:
