They were just looking for something to eat. If they had food stamps, they wouldn't have resorted to such violence.

The recidivism rate is currently between 60-70%. Meaning that 60-70% will return to jail/prison within 3 years of their last release.

Taking away their foodstamps is not going to cause them to commit more crimes. It may cause them to commit different crimes, but not more. They already have a criminal mindset and would have been back in jail eventually anyway.

If you murder, attempt to murder, rape, or assault someone then you don't deserve free food.

We have 5% of the worlds TOTAL population, but 25% of the worlds PRISON population. These private prisons sell their stocks on Wall Street. I've looked the stocks up before.

These "representatives" are selling us out to private companies that make their money off locking us up. There's states that have contracts that guarantee to keep the private prisons filled to almost capacity
