I signed a contract for my job. I read it, and had a lawyer read it. I made sure there was nothing in there I would look back on and regret having signed it. They would if discrimination laws weren’t in place. I challenge anyone to google civil suits regarding racism in regards to the racial pay gap. You’ll be there for hours.

But the truth is, nobody should have that type of money in the first place.

And you are prostituting your life by handing over all your data and control to the same group of white men who use your data in a business that makes way more money off you than they do off of Dave with the half a billion. All because you refuse to change some of your online behavior and make a couple of adjustments.

I recommend checking out some more videos on the above guy's channel to learn a thing or two about the threats and what you can do about them. Yes, he is on a Google platform preaching privacy but he has an extensive method to keep his data separate and to spread his message. He's legit and helping people trying to make a change.

You got a point. I get the whole thing about fingerprinting that's hard to curb. I have been internet-security aware for some time now. I dont have accounts in any of these platforms. I browse YouTube via invidious or freetube desktop app. If i click on a twitter link here, it redirects me to an instance of nitter.net so i can view it without going to twitter. Im not even on Facebook right now so any kind of social media interaction i have is via clicking links posted in threads here.

Moreover, i use a combo of NoScript, privacy badger, cookie autodelete, https everywhere, etc. I do the same with my phone, shyt is rooted and a iron clad firewall has been put in place to prevent apps mining my phone for data.

So I'd say im more private than the average internet user, although my methods aint 100% secure.
