Netflix Is A Joke

Why are so many people who download hung up on this notion that you should never pay for anything? I download shyt.. plus I have Netflix and I buy BluRays.

Netflix is worth it to me now, because really I've become burnt out on downloads at this point. I understand there's still ways to do it.. but after seeing all your main download sources get got.. it kind of deters that drive I once had to download anything and everything

I'm not gonna pay to download movies. and I sure as hell am not gonna pay to download pirated material off of say newsgroups. and buying shyt off itunes is a rip off. but paying for netflix is a bargain just off the sheer convenience of the set up itself.

Exactly, I still download here and there. I buy the occasional blu ray if it's something I really want. But sometimes I don't want to download, put it on on usb, and transfer it to my ps3. I just want to fire up my ps3 and watch something instantly. You can't do that with downloading. I've been downloading since the days of napster. Yeah it's easy but it's not instant like Netflix. And to the people that complain about Netflix selections, either you're watching too much or you need to expand your taste. Their TV selection is awesome. I have no problem with the movie selection, they have enough movies that have come out in the past year or two I haven't seen yet to keep my interested. And they have classics that I haven't seen like Platoon and A Fish Called Wanda. It put me on to great movies like Lost in Translation and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. And great TV shows like Breaking Bad and Mad Men. The documentary selection is great too. Being part of this generation sucks, we're spoiled so much by downloading that a great service like Netflix for $8.00 we find a reason to bytch and complain. $8.00 a friggin month, I don't even work that into my monthly budget.

Ain't no way in hell is Netflix worth the nearly $100 a year, not with their content selection no fukking way. I mean i guess if i was a dumb nikka it might be worth it for the convenience.

I know nikkas is a bit shook to download stuff but c'mon...

Let's look past downloading for a sec tho, i MIGHT be willing to accept tv shows/documentaries/cartoons/etc as Netfix's saving grace but even saying that Amazon Instant Video>>>> .....not necessarily for the content because they are close in that department with Netflix winning in a few categories/titles and Amazon winning a few, but in the fact you get other perks from Amazon Prime.

Now i hear what some of you dumb nikkas is thinkin, "Mane i don't order shyt online anyway so fukk i need Amazon Primes extra perks for?!?!"

Ok, don't order from Amazon then...your loss. At this point let me redirect you back to the initial point...downloading is FREE. Until they shut down all routes to be able to download shyt and Netflix then becomes my only option MAYBE then i'd say it was worth the money...but today, free>>>>>>>>>>>>spending one red cent on a lot of old ass content that if i didn't care to see it many years ago when it was out i probably don't give a damn about seeing now in 2013.

So in summary, downloading>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Amazon Instant Video>>>>>>Netflix

Oh and all you white knights who wanna come charging in on your high horse to decry the illegalities of downloading can save it. A) I don't give a fukk and B) Its a given you'll pay for anything to avoid being an amoral person but i've already given you Amazon Instant Video as my choice for a better alternative to Netflix so it would really be a moot point anyway.

I forgot how "elite" some of these fakkits like to be.

No, I get that. I understand why people wouldn't pay for pirated material.. and I definitely think Itunes is a ripoff.. but I'm talking about Netflix and BluRay's. Netflix is worth it for convenience, TV shows, documentaries etc.. and Blu's are worth it at discount price because you get the highest quality picture and audio. But let some of these entitled downloaders tell it.. and they'll claim we're being ripped off for dropping any kind of money on media.

What is wrong with yall my Q is 130 things deep from tv shows, to movies, to foriegn flicks, documentaries , etc.....If you think netflix is wack you must lack a taste for diversity or you watch everything possible as soon as it comes out.

Only time I get bored with netflix is when im in a certain genre mood and I've worn out what I can find. Like for example I may go through a DC/Marvel mood and not want to watch anything thing else and ran through all those animated movies/shows available.

So much obsucre piff I done watched that I would have never ever seen if it wasnt for the ease of clicking and watching. for 8 bucks it's a steal. Imagine me wasting time, searching and trying to download the whole series of some sitcom just towaste space and realize the show is corny. I lost my time with that or find out some of the files have low quality or are corrupted, or can't get it to download completely.
If this was a $100 a month service we would be having a different argument but for what you might spend on fastfood for lunch this is a bargain.

i have a simple media server set up that takes everything on my computer hard drives and shares it with my xbox ps3 and phone. So i'm not wowed by the convenience factor at all.

I've only been using it for 2 months so far and I'm having trouble finding anything worth watching anymore unfortunately.
