Since when is Rashida Jones Mixed/Black?
:troll:
Obviously Quincy is her father but she’s always identified heavily with her White Jewish side. The most I’ve ever seen from her is ethnic ambiguity.

I just wish he woulda chosen a different lead cause the half white wife is too close to Bow. Wonder how he gonna tell her story without it being too similar of characters.
So it seems like a more ballin version of Blackish.
You’re asking this man to make a show without a mixed wife and light skinned kids? It’s not happening

Only funny thing about that show is Deon Cole sometimes.
prolly the only sure fire consistent person on the show thats funny, Blackish is ok. But the show comes off to cringy/corny for its own good. Espescally in regards to how it delievers its messages

Black people: We don't have any representation and when we do it's all negative stereotypes:damn:

Also black people: That show about the well off black family with no negative stereotypes is mad corny. Only white people want to watch shyt like that.:francis:
I love to see positive representations of Black people but I don’t like to see shows where Blackness is the center of every punchline/joke. There are more intelligent to ways to highlight race, cultural norms, and cultural divides than the low hanging fruit jokes in that trailer. Classic shows like The Cosby Show, Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Martin, Family Matters, Moesha, etc. didn’t need to do that.

The title for his shows are also objectively corny.
:hhh:

Need a black "Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia"
People would accuse the creators and writers of being c00ns.

Moesha wasn't a classic.
