Saiga in Cyrillic is Canta, from what I've gathered this is a semi-automatic shotgun variation of the Saiga rifles

Thank god he didn't go in there with that. These shyts have a 30 rounds drum...which didn't look like what was in the trunk but the mag on these hold anywhere between 2-10 rounds. Not hard to reload either.

So if 5 pitbulls get loose in disneyland and maul a bunch of babies and then a news report comes on saying ban pitbulls, people who dont have pitbulls and people who hate pitbulls are going to get behind it because they see it as a time they can use backing of a powerful institution/force to make something happen that otherwise they may have given very little thought to.

that's my point...i'm not a fan of guns at all...but they exist to gotta deal with it.


Again this is a situation that coulda been avoided if this fool was properly cared for mentally. Also, i think the executive order on background check was insane in the fact that we didn't already have that.

I will say the media is hyper-sensitive to gun violence now, i'm sure school shootings happen, but it seems framed to the discourse now...i mean Gun control is all in the media and all of a sudden MULTIPLE school shootings occur in less than two months?

Either people are really that stupid or people are that crazy.

Both of which means we need to get some of these guns off the streets.

Don't know how many were pit bulls but there were 38 fatal dog attacks in 2012 compared with about 80 or so people killed by mass shootings in the same time frame.

I think doing something rather than nothing is pretty practical

maybe I'm just a 'glass half full' type of guy, but I don't see the purpose of thinking things can never change (when things are constantly changing)

I think there's a very reasonable conversation going on right now. that's why I asked you before what you find so unreasonable. I don't see any kind of strong voice behind something like an all out ban on guns. it just seems like a strawman

Ten + people are kiled by pitbulls each year. Many more are mauled each year. Pitbulls have been around a lot longer then the school shooting phenom. I think you're wrong here little fella. The logic to ban guns holds no weight and isnt actually based on sound logic because the hypocrisy is so apparent when the same logic is carried over to other things that should be banned based on the same logic.

Pitbulls are not natural killers. The American Kennel Club actually recommends against using Pits as guard dogs because they're too friendly. In order to turn a pitbull into a weapon, you have to abuse/train it in a certain way.

Guns are made specifically to kill. They have no other use, and their original function is as weaponry.
