Oh yeah when Kobe came back from demanding a trade, he had the Lakers in 1st place by midseason BEFORE they traded for Gasol. So he didn't exactly come back to the team and lay down......he worked with what he had and the team was overachieving even before the Pau trade.....but y'all dont wanna talk about that :sas2:

We giving awards for being number 1 at the all star break now.. My how the rules change up for some..... and this is coming from a Lakers company man since 84... I was indoctrinated in the good Dr. Gerald Buss’ methodology towards winning..... :obama:

2010 Boston was a greater team than the Lakers squad....and he was a winning record vs TD

Kobe also never got his "help" traded in midseason for trash, but hey, keep ignoring that :mjlol:

And when he demanded a trade it was because they weren't keeping their promise. He was going to go to the Clippers in 04 before Jerry Buss changed his mind last minute and JB promised he'd rebuild the team around him. Kobe got a little impatient but the Jkidd for Bynum trade is what set him off, and for good reason. They should've traded for Kidd. Either way Kobe just wanted them to make a move which they ended up doing shortly after.

2010 Celtics wasn't better than us. I would argue that with a healthy Ariza and Bynum in 08 we were better than them too. Kobe demanded a trade in 07 cause the roster was garbage. What the fukk are you even try to argue here? Getting rid of Smush and Bynum playing like a top 15 player were the reasons for the massive improvement. Kobe was still Kobe. He just had more help.

Kobe needs to worry about Durant and Curry passing him up first

nah Kobe will be fine. I think he's secure in what he's accomplished even if they do pass him on the championship list

Kobe didn't say anything wrong and said pretty much what'd you expect from all time great and one of the NBA's most prolific winners

He probably can't wrap his head around LeBron both getting ordained as the GOAT for beating a weak ass Eastern conference...then immediately having a fukking pity party thrown for him after getting swept in the finals and pretty much quitting in the last game blowout

"Figure it out" is pretty much the only choice you had when it wasn't cool for franchise players to flat out quit their teams that were good enough to make it to the championship round and run somewhere else to better stack the deck when they lose... being able to just jump from team to team exhausting their peak resources for contending runs and just pressing the eject button the moment you sense the run is over (the supporting players are older and not as good and the team is capped out) is some new school shyt... The last time Bron did it to the Heat he gassed all the marks and the media with that "I'm Coming Home" narrative :mjlol:....this time there's not even any pretense...just "welp... pretty obvious the window here, like for every team ever in history, is probably about to close...so peace, so long Cavs...time for me to bounce to a squad with some nice underpaid good young players and plenty of capspace... enjoy TT and JR's contracts and remember the good days"... And has the media pretty much cheering him on

KLove just said he wants to play with LeBron forever. Nobody ever said that about playing with the rat :mjlol:

Michael Jordan punched teammates in the face....you think they wanted to play with him forever?

Michael Jordan was standoffish to a lot of his teammates. You think they wanted that forever?

Bron buying teammates suits, going on field trips etc., of course they wanna play with him forever.

Except for Kyrie :mjpls:

Did Kobe figured out when he snitched on Shaq and had him shipped out of LA

Did Kobe figure it out when he cried in a Kmart parking lot for a trade and has his bags packed for Chicago after Steve Nash bust his ass in the 1st round two years in a row:mjlol:

fukk outta here :camby:

Yeah he did actually... applied appropriate pressure on the front office and got them to finally pair him with a Kevin Love-tier 20-10 all-star in Pau in the post Shaq era, and went to war... They had their run, went to 3 straight finals...won 2.... What he didn't do was, when it clear that window was closing, quit the Lakers to go play with the baby thunder or something
