Yeah they were just as bad, if not worse

2005-06 Lakers playoff averages (7 games total):

Lamar Odom:
19 points, 11 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 block, shot 50% from the field, 20% from distance, 66.7% at the line

Kwame Brown:
12.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1 block, 52% from the field, 71% at the line

Luke Walton:
12.1 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 46% from the field, 36% from distance

Smush Parker: 9 points, 3 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 33% from the field, 16% from distance, hit all his free throws

Here’s the 2018 cavaliers supporting cast (22 games):

Kevin Love: 14.9 points, 10.2 rebounds, 1.6 assists, 39% from the field, 34% from deep, missed 1 game

George hill: 9.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 45% from the field, 31% from distance, missed 3 games

JR Smith: 8.7 points, 2.7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 35% from the field, 37% from distance

Jeff Green: 7.7 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 41% from the field, 30% from distance

Kyle Korver: 8.3 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1 assist, 42% from the field, 41% from distance, shot 10% from the field in the finals

Tristan Thompson: 6 points, 6 rebounds, 59% from the field, missed 3 games

Jordan Clarkson: 4.7 points, 1.7 rebounds, 0.7 assists, shot 30% from the field.

It's sort of dumb only to use a post-season sample size to answer this question, especially since the Lakers had a sample size of one series.

Using statistics only also isn't reflective of contributions. Thompson's stats are ass, but he was helpful against the Celtics and made an impact there. Korver was dreadful in the finals, but he was a big part of every other series, again, in particular, the Celtics.

Lamar was the only Laker worth a shyt on the team aside from Kobe. Walton was a decent role player in the regular season, but he wasn't ready for the playoffs(much like Clarkson).

I’ll go series by series when I finish at the gym, but it doesn’t really get any prettier that way. After game 1 vs Toronto, most of the site was in agreement that Love shouldn’t have even been playing anymore. Through the first 3 rounds, Korver was his best teammate while averaging 9 points and maybe 2 assists, and none of them defended well at all really.

Edit: everyone played well vs Toronto and aside from Korver were nearly point shaving levels of bad vs Indiana and Boston

this is a guy who had an entire team built from scratch around him from 2004-2008 but he's the most fortunate superstar ever :mjlol::mjlol::mjlol:

Thats his fukking fault he couldn't co exist with most dominant ever.

Even made Phil jackson take a year off due to his selfishness.

Still lucked out getting pau after he wanted tp be traded and having 3 7 footers when that still mattered

Some of those guys should not have been asked in my opinion What Kobe said was very telling to his mindset of whatever happens happens I must go on people forget how he had to change his shooting form multiple times because of injures to fingers, palms, wrists, and you name it
