SWAP TATUM WITH BRON/KD
AND CELTICS STILL WIN THE 2023 TITLE
PLUS THOSE GUYS WIN
THE ECF MVP AND FMVPS AWARDS

Swap Tatum with Bron KD Lakers and you still get the same results. Probably go farther.

Media and GMs BOTH rate Tatum above both of them by a landslide.

In a non Bron-centric offense, Tatum is absolutely better than LeBron

Better defense
Better shooting
Better ball handling
More Stamina

Bron would still have the advantage in rebounding and overall passing, but that's it.

However, It's easier to average 8-9 assists when the ball is always in your hands. Tatum doesn't have that benefit.

When Lebron James is playing defense he’s a better defender. Jayson Tatum has no bread & butter like Bron does so that’s why one goes 3-69 while the other can put his head down & initiate contact. I don’t really give a fukk about ball handling unless it’s in relation to turnovers and we all know Tatum’s recent history on that front

I would love to see their outside shooting numbers the last three playoff runs

Jayson Tatum is not better than Heihachi James

49ers..Braves..Celtics
Except Tatum had already dominated KD in the playoffs a couple years ago so there's no reason to suggest that KD is a better player than him right now besides "I like the way his game looks".... KD was getting locked up lol

GM's trying to sweet talk the Celts right before the season starts, I see it :russ:

We saw how the Olympic hierarchy went.. if your argument is that over the course of an 82 game season you trust Tatum to not get injured over Lebron then that’s fair

But there’s not a single reason you can pick of “Tatum>Lebron” in a vacuum

Using the Olympic hierarchy argument is cool but then let’s make sure we keep it consistent, we ranking Jrue & White over Haliburton too then right? And Booker should be ahead of Ant as well, correct?

It's no wonder some of these teams are straight ass when you see some of the shyt these GMs were saying.

They voted Ja Morant as most likely to have a break out season :mjlol:

Dude is a superstar, multiple all star, made an All-NBA team and already won MIP and some goofies think he's gonna have a "break out season"

Some of them gave Luka votes as best SG and best SF in the league :heh:

Curry got a vote as best shooting guard too :dead:

This is like saying "when Lebron is making his 3s, he's a better shooter than KD". The argument is consistency. How often does he play defense? 20% of the time? This is a ridiculous statement.

And Lebron has a better shooting percentage due to "putting his head down and initiating contact" during garbage time because he can't consistently do that either.

Hence why I said Tatum has more Stamina to do his work on the court.

They were asked to be role players. It was between Lebron and Tatum for the starting SF position and Tatum was so awful he could hardly see min

So that’s a no, you won’t be keeping the same energy. Glad you realized how nonsensical that logic is

Yea i disagree with listing the same guys at multiple positions

Luka and SGA may play off-ball here and there but neither are 2-guards and Luka ain't a 3.

Keep it to one position per player (their primary position) and give a more thoughtful list.

Tatum: 47% from the field, 37% from 3.

James: 54% from the field, 41% from 3.

I'll give you defense, ball-handling and stamina. Bron laps him as a playmaker, and I'd rather have Bron in the clutch.

I've seen Tatum nut up too many times to say he's better than LeBron.

The PG/SG vote is weird

If half the GM's vote SGA as PG, the other half as SG.

Then he "flops" both. Would he have been #1 if he was only SG?

KD as the second best PF is also wild

^This too.

GMs voted SGA most likely to win MVP this season and voted him the #2 player they'd start a franchise with today (Wemby being #1)...

but don't vote him the best at either guard spot, even tho he was top 4 in total votes on the position questions :dead:
