If I was to make a random guess, Sony want more manpower behind TLOU3 to speed up the process

Bungie investment continues to pay off

Bungie can't even handle their own single live service game, and they've had since 2014 to figure it out. :mjlol: Expecting them to babysit the literal 12+ GAAS Sony is trying to force down consumers throats for the rest of this generation is asinine. Especially if nonsense like that turgid Splatoon ripoof shyt is what Sony thinks is going to set this section of the industry ablaze :dead:

Thats not sonys game

And im not sure how you can say bungie can’t handle their own game, Destiny 2 never leaves top 5 highest paid on steam and their new game already has 20m views from the showcase.

Naughty Dog was on a hiring spree for the last 3 years and got a lot of MP devs...just to have them fall back because Sony doesn't know what they want to do with their online library. fukk these live service games and just release a traditional pvp game like Factions 1.

Yea this shyt in development hell.

Don’t cape for naughty dawg either, they not infallible

Prolly bit off more than they could chew (don’t ask me how :wow:)
This is exactly what they did, if I was to guess the structure of this, it’s somewhat like the division, set in an open world that’s populated by other players along with infected, you prolly level up your character while gathering supplies etc ect

Which is fine, and something they are more than capable of…IF it’s your studios main focus, But they have a whole new IP being made along with TLOU3 being in pre dev, along with Neil focusing on the LOU show. Pretty much something they planned to have as an additional layer to TLOU2 to be added on at a later date snowballed into an entire AAA GAAS game in the middle of all these other projects
