We need to stop ignoring a$$holes/racists/right wingers just bc we disagree with them because the one "good" thing about them is that they will tell you exactly what they truly believe/want. Then you can plan ahead, and should never be caught by surprise. Actually much more difficult to discern liberal/progressive intentions bc oftentimes they keep motivations etc hidden.
Exactly. That's how you stay in touch and know what you're running against. A lot of liberals don't do that and think that they're dealing with Reagan era conservatives.
That's why I thought the Russiagate thing was misguided. Conservatives don't view Russia as an enemy anymore, and most independents don't seem to care either.
The chance of Mueller actually having a "gotcha" seemed pretty slim, and my suspicions were correct.
