NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Royalty shouldn't have made the cut. The beat n the singing/hook just doesn't work. Rhymes just okay. Nas has way better shyt in the stash. shyt, nas has much better unreleased material on youtube

But at the same time, it's on some people's favorite list...
Royalty grew on me alot. I never really had a problem with the beat tho. It was the hook. But like I said. It grew on me.

Nah....jemele hill is certified in these streets. Maybe you're not away who she is

Even if she asks, Nas can handle himself.

Obviously kelis doesn't have a smoking gun so the story will forever be on some he say she say bullshyt.

And what broken relationship doesn't have a difference of opinion about how things transpired. The story didn't have legs so it died quickly..

I don't know why some nas fans feel it's haunting him..America has since moved on.

She lowkey a Nas stan. Back in the His&Hers days Micheal Smith said Black Thought was his GOAT, Jemelle said NAS.

but he already used the verse from that song... i'm pretty sure track was gutted

You think that Nas and Timbalan snippet was Sinatra in the Sand? I don’t know about that. The word was that Nas recorded multiple songs with Tim. I don’t believe that was Sinatra in the Sand.

I remember Khaled asked him about it and nas said that's not a lost tapes song. He said it's a banger for an official album

He just recently said that the next Lost Tapes would have features. This leads me to believe that anything in his stash is on the table. The song is probably going on 6-7 years old now. I guess it really depends on what sound and concept he is going for in his next album but I think it’s safe to say that it’s going to be on one of his next two projects. However, I’m leaning toward the Lost Tapes 3

Not gonna lie. May be too early and so long but I’m starting to wonder if I like this shyt more than life is good. This shyt gets better and better every listen. I skip two tracks. Sometimes only one. Depending on my mood. I hate royalty with a passion. Lol... too much to read thru this whole shyt but never ends beat don’t remind ya of the story of o.j. By Jay z? Or I’m bugging?

Do any of y'all know which tracks are from which albums yet?

While we're at it, can someone break down the albums for the Lost Tapes 1 tracks?

Vernon Family/You Mean The World To Me (Hip Hop Is Dead)

Who Are You/Queens Wolf/War Against Love (Untitled)

Lost Freestyle/Royalty/It Never Ends/Beautiful Life (Life Is Good)

The Art Of It (Lost Tapes 2 exclusive)

No Bad Energy/Tanasia/Adult Film/Highly Favored/Jarreau Of Rap/Queensbridge Politics (Album before Nasir)

Aside from the Sinatra in the Sands with Timberlake and jayZ joint, what are some other known/speculated features he could have for the next Lost Tapes? I’m talking Def Jam era because there are tons from Sony

He did Association with Sticman
He was recently in the studio with Lupe
Im sure he has something with AZ

Anything else?

During the HHID era, he said he had a song with "big dude from Queens", but never said the name. The song didn't come out and nothing else was said about it. There's also "White Man's Paper" with Damian.

There were pics last year with him in the studio with Lauryn. Don't know if he actually recorded songs with them, but he wanted T.I. and Michael Jackson on HHID.

Which streets? The streets in which she supported that Black Men Are The White Men Of The Black Community?

Slight correction. The “Big Queens Dude” song is from the pre-HHID era (called by some the “NASdaq Dow Jones” era) this was when he was still on Columbia and perhaps maybe six months before The I Declare War concert. Nas had announced an album called NASdaq Dow Jones and this album initially spawned the “2 million dollar Neptunes beat”, “Bullet X” (rumored 50 Cent diss) and a few other odds and ends that turned out to be internet rumors and bullshyt.

This was also around the time Nas and Premier did the Scratch Magazine Cover talking about the joint album.

Looking at the chart numbers Nas actually OUTSOLD Beyonce’s Gift Album in physical sales (12,489 Vs 12,145) which is phenomenal seeing as physical copies were only available via his website. Of course streaming is King now, so he got outsold via streaming and Track Equivalent (single song) sales.

CONGRATULATIONS TO NAS! TWENTY FIVE YEARS IN THE GAME WITH THIRTEENTH STRAIGHT TOP TEN BILLBOARD DEBUT:salute:

Aside from Serious, surely he has more music with AZ in the stash both before and after Serious, right?
Wasn’t he also in the Studio with Redman around SD?
