After bumping this all week imo nas is the greatest storyteller in rap...
Before this album i would probably say ghostface or biggie are the goat story tellers

I dont remember a NaS album that had this many storytelling songs, damn near all of them
hand crafted art, martin scorsese rap

NaS has always been a good story teller, Rewind , gave you power always had tracks like that
but this album just on another level :wow:

Dope, dope album. After listening it to it twice with no disturbance.

Obviously it’s better than Nasir just with 2 plays. I don’t think it’s better than LIG yet, which I think was a 4.5 mic album.

Tanasia is absolutely perfect, I actually wish this beat went to Ghost during Supreme Clientele era. Not saying nas ain’t kill it, but prime Ghost would of destroyed this beat vs today Nas.

I can’t wait to hear this multiple more times tonight.

tanasia is a masterpiece and honestly its on the level of i used to love her

Only tracks I'm skipping on future listens right now is Jarreau and Who Are You.

i could never skip who are you even when it leaked decade ago. its too smooth breh jus too smooth

i consciously go to skip it and just get reeled in. im happy its retail now

Been :shaq: Revaughn for a minute now and she’s on this shyt loooooool.

Anyway, really felling this so far man. Letting it breathe though in comparing it to other Nas projects. I like it. Will play this all weekend!

post a pic

Tanasia is crazy

i used to love her status as far as personification

Alchemist has the best beat on the album, he saved his best for Nas it seems.

And I like the second RZA beat better than the first tbh.

alchemist w no drums aint touching pete rock or dj khalil on this LP

Rep cause you don't even understand how much I get that feeling when I read dumb ass shyt on social media. The cloak of anonymity is like a fukking infinity gauntlet gem for these trolls on social media.

LOL well put

Lmao. War Against Love is smooth as fukk.

lol he said hanglider breh i can picture it now

Seriously though, what is wrong with you weirdoes? Y'all can't care that much what these blogs and websites filled with white boys say about the project where y'all literally post random Twitter opinions on the album.:hhh: I understand, y'all want y'all favorite artist to get the respect, admiration, adulation, and attention that y'all think he deserves. But y'all have to understand Nas maybe gets the most respect out of anyone ever in rap. The most admiration out of everyone. From Denzel Washington to Jennifer Lopez to Carmelo Anthony to J Cole to Waka Flocka to Lupe Fiasco to Ghostface Killah to Leonardo DiCaprio to Alicia Keys to Drake to LeBron James to Common to Juicy J, all of these different type of people in some way form or fashion has said Nas is the greatest or right up there with the greatest to ever do it. And I can go on and on. On the same day Nas dropped his album you have Jay-Z saying he feels like the 94 Nas, you have Eminem saying don't compare me to these new rappers, compare me to Nas. What else do you weirdoes want? Y'all really care about random Twitter followers and blog sites:francis:
Preach breh.

Nah he worked with Kanye and Kanye is currently isn't a favorite amongst the music business because of the Trump shyt. Most of these outlets are Anti Trump and Nas just so happened to receive that extra backlash because of the association. Especially when these cats are bringing up irrelevant shyt that has nothing to do with his music(Like the Kelis accusations of him beating her)

Daytona got great reviews despite Kanye. Nasir got bad to average reviews because it wasn't a good project. There is no conspiracy. The Kelis stuff hurt more than Kanye IMO, and that has died as her story looks less and less logical (based on the court fight).

People are reviewing this as an album, meaning their knocking off points for stuff WE understand to be unfinished. Joe Blow The Urban Music Consumer peeps the album on Spotify and asks why the fukk does this sound unevenly mixed with wack singing. Jane Doe The Music Reviewer asks the same thing.
