i noticed this on a few tracks where he speaks on something thas past the supposed date of release

also what song is from nasir? you mean the world to me is from before untitled LOL

There is NO song from the Nasir recording sessions on Lost Tapes 2 and I have no idea why the official press release stated that. You Mean The World To Me is from the Hip Hop Is Dead sessions and leaked almost ten years ago. Anthony Selah confirmed this last week at one of the listening parties

Went to see the Gawd MC last night. shyt was rocking. Breh was doing No Bad Energy and got midway into the first verse stopped and said
“I don’t know the rest”

Good performance all around but you can definitely tell he was either drunk or high asf. We got some strong bud in VA now

Nas is my goat and my only gripe with him is that he cant remember the bars to alot of his songs. If he could that would take his performance even further. Especially if he could go in depth with his catalogue. He still the goat though

This project doesnt really have any misses. Even that Jarreu of Rap ain't as bad as people make it out to be. He ripped those verses too

I feel like royalty with frank ocean would have been better and I feel like the original title of no such thing as white jesus tells me that the subject matter of that song was different.

highly favoured, war against love, art of it, Vernon Family, Queensbridge politics, a beautiful life, adult film, queens wolf, lost freestyle- all are 4/5 or better in my books. I’ll add Skat attack as well, definitely aligned with the strongest half of the album cuts, and I don’t understand the hate. I love the funky jazz beat and even the hook. Add it all up and there’s a minimum of 10 strong album cuts...that being said I rated adult film as a 4 or better but it could have used less Swizz crooning, and I wasn’t feeling the hook on Tanasia. Royalty is the only complete throwaway on an album that sits in the top 5 for Nas’s catalogue IMO.

Frank DOES sound better than ole girl Ravaugn on the track and Nas probably reworked the verses
