At this point, I'm most anxious to hear whatever he did with Timbaland. Nas described the songs as powerful and Large Professor recently said they were crazy. If the 2015 snippet Timbaland posted was any indication, :whew::

This had the coli going nuts when it dropped

Nasir was not trash.

Cops shot the kid 4/5
Bonjour 5/5
Adam and Eve 5/5
Everything 4/5

The other three were average to above average.

Agreed, but the intro track was also 4/5. I like the leaked version without Diddy much better than the released track though.

Didn't he use part of that verse in Echo?

I definitely want to hear what he was working on before the Kanye thing.

That was the plan with the Def Jam version. I know for a fact he recorded brand new material including a Pete Rock produced track that Pete was going nuts about. He was going to shoot a video as well but Def Jam didn’t want to budget for the album and didn’t want to count it against his contract

I remember hearing about that, but I don't remember Pete Rock commenting on it. Interesting. Is there an interview or something where he spoke on it?

For Nas to do this, surely he would have worked out a way to include those tracks he did with Def Jam. Album length also intrigues me. The average album length is like 12 songs. Hope we get like 15-17
