My ranking for Nas’ albums (1 the lowest, 5 the highest):

Illmatic - 5 (the standard)
IWW - 5 (peak Nas)
I Am - 3.5 (has some absolute classics mixed with some of his wackest songs)
Nastradamus - 2.5 (his worst album but still had a few gems)
Stillmatic - 4.5 (near flawless, but I had the one with a Braveheart Party...can’t put it on illmatic or IWW level)
God’s Son - 4.5 (thought GS was every bit as good as Stillmatic, if not more consistent. Stillmatic had higher highs)
Street’s Disciple - 3.5 (a lot of people don’t like it, but I bumped the hell outta this)
HHID - 3 (no actual BAD tracks (besides “Who Killed It”, but some forgettable ones mixed with good ones)
Untitled - 4 (loved the tone/message throughout this album)
Life is Good - 4 (nice mature album)
Nasir - 3.5 (too short...lacking a story telling or conceptual track. No wack tracks though)

Only songs I don't like on I Am... are I Want To Talk To You, Dr Knockboots and Big Things. K-I-SS-I-N-G is okay but forgettable. Replace those four with Find Ya Wealth, Poppa Was a Playa, Drunk By Myself and Amongst Kings and I Am... would be a masterpiece.
Low key, Find Ya Wealth might be Nas greatest song, the amount of jewels he was dropping on this joint, the flow and the beat:damn:. Its a got damn travesty that this joint isn't on one of his studio albums.

Album is growing on me, but its obvious there are critics in the media viewing this album negatively based on the Kelis allegations. One of the biggest problems with the growth of Hip Hop is the outsiders having say in whats hot and whats not. Homosexuals, white women, Black women who only listen to what the radio feeds them, folks trying to capitalize on the metoo movement, hipsters etc., are doing what they can to destroy this album and his legacy if they can get away with it.

To be honest it makes me look at Jay :patrice:, cuz he's pretty much riding his wife's coat tails at this point to shield him from liberal criticism .

Meh; can’t believe that we waited six years for something that sounds like it was written and recorded in less than a month. It’s got a couple of dope tracks, but it feels very.... unsatisfying.

I refuse to call these 20-25 minute projects full LPs; they’re EPs no matter which way Kanye and his team try to spin it.

That's because it fukkin was.

I rate this album average for Nas standards, but I also understand all these GOOD Music shyts was recorded in the fashion of Kanye saying let's go on vacation and record a quick EP. It's not fair to act like Nas sat on these songs and perfected them.
