No. Not at all. Nas been working on this album for a month tops.

Hope thats the case. Am a Nas stan and am disappointed with this album.

I wont blame Kanye for this... Its a Nas album and its upon him to make sure the beats/production is right for the rhymes etc.

Hope we get the Nas album they been talking about all along

I found this very interesting. Now from Pete I would expect to feel some way or throw shots hes been doin it since IWW. But Extra P kinda surprised cause he seemed calm and cool plus he's always round Nas (as shown in that RESPECT doc) so I kno he was prob told some information on this album and maybe his next joint which will have tracks by them on there

Funny people are saying Nas is flowing off and compare it to his flow 20 years back yet dikk jock Jay-Z who do not even rap the same. And nobody cares.

Nas is indeed the most criticized rapper in hip hop. It boggles the mind. People get hyped off of mediocre trap rappers. Be digging redundant trap beats and 808 samples. Rhyming off-beat in auto-tune but hear Nas spit lyrical poetry and complain his flow is off, or it's boring because it's not club bangers, or somehow sampling loops is suddenly "overproduced" because it is not hi-hat kicks over an 808 bottom.

Hip hop today, yall.

I haven’t seen Large Pro diss the album
Or Nas.

Pete Rock been salty since Nas didn’t use
Him on IWW although they recently got cool again.

These elder statesmen producers CANNOT be trying to hitch their wagons to Nas to get back to relevance. That ain’t the way its gonna work

It shows a post with him dissing him tho. I hope not. Cause that would be fukked up. He just got a placement on Nas' last album.

Damn is that Large Pro comment real? If so, that’s really disappointing. I feel like him and G Rap are the only guys that always had good things to say about Nas regardless of the status of their working relationship.

That doesn’t even sound like something LP would say for real.

I 100% agree with this statement. It seems the elder statesmen contribute to the problem as well when it comes to the criticism of Nas. To Pete and Large it seemed Illmatic is also a gift and a curse for them whereas it feels they are still tryna re catch a moment and when it doesn't stick blame Nas. I'm sure Large could've holla at Nas shyt he was at the listening party so I dont see how he could feel some kinda way being that Nas mostly like told him the plan (just like pusha said he had to reach out to producers of his original album and tell them the tracks are on hold) now pete we all kno his issue he been overly critical since he didnt make IWW and throwing shots throughout Nas career until recently when they linked back up and he was amped and Team Nas now it's back to the sublims it's funny u dont see Preemo complaining and they been talking bout a collaboration album for years.

LP hasn’t PRODUCED on a Nas record since 2001’s Your Da Man.

Ain’t no WAY he can be salty if him and Nas haven’t been on wax in 17 years. What the fukk did he think was going to change about a NAS/KANYE album?!?!

I gotta call bullshyt on the LP stuff until i see further receipts. LP too smart to be in his feelings and burning bridges like that. Rock i could see because for some reason he ALWAYS gets emotional about Nas but LP always keeps it cool
