If this is true its childish as fukk. Real talk. Nas been showing these nikkas love for years now.

I’m just not feeling how they act like they’re just trying to save Nas from himself, when really they’re just salty that they’re not being included. If I didn’t know better, I’d assume Nas dropped some commercial pop EP or something. But a lot of these joints sound exactly like what people have been begging to hear Nas over imo. Adam and Eve is actually something you’d expect to hear from Alchemist or Large Pro. White Label sounds like some Madlib or Roc Marc shyt. Bonjour sounds like something Rozay might rock with. It’s just kinda weird to me, because the criticism this time around isn’t matching up with what I’m hearing on this album.

What next album...:mjcry:

The official "Nas Album Done" album. Nasir was just a vanity project and contract fulfillment for Def Jam. Nas is now on his own with the deal he just got for Mass Appeal via UMG so the 1st album to drop will be the offical long awaited Nas album he been working on for 6 years with various producers

After bumpin this album all weekend, this is solid front to back. One thing about these short EP style albums is that it either do 2 things. Either 1, it fills you up being satisfied with just those tracks (ie Pusha's album) or 2 it leaves you wanting more. I feel that this Nas album was more or less an appetizer. It leaves you wanting more after Simple Things.

what did they say?

Pete has jus been throwing little sublims throughout IG in reference to Nas and the album.

Large comment on a pic Nas put up with swizz thanking him for cigars saying "maybe I should've gave u cigars instead of a place on a track (most likely referring to Live at the BBQ) then I would've gotten more love"

@Ziggiy @spliz now rereading this Large was definitely in his feelings bout not be either acknowledged or under Nas at the party. I feel this has more so to do with that than him not getting a production credit

Finally got to listen to it. :ahh: Not For Radio, Bonjour, everything, and Simple Things were the standouts so far, gonna listen again on the way home.

I like the short album route. For example, Street’s Disciple would’ve benefitted greatly if some songs were cut (still my GOAT double album).
