Truth is a aight song…that’s it. The beat is decent, the bars are decent. There is nothing special about that song. Not by Nas standards

Nasir is his worst album 3 mics at best? Nobody ever said everything he drops is classic. It's better than everything on that mid ass Push album bars beat everything

I enjoy the album but it’s only 9songs. When it’s that short it’s gotta be near perfect, no skip. It’s not.

I’d say 3 somgs are elite: Speechless, Wu for the children, dedicated

3 are dope: Ugly, wave gods, Hollywood gangsta

3 are just ok: meet Joe black, 40-16, the truth

That’s not enough to beat out Pusha’s album, or even a Kendrifk album with a similar amount of skips. Kendrick album got skips but it’s way deeper, way more content and high level songs

I’ll have the same collection of Nas records on vinyl except my Illmatic is the regular version. I was going to get the live orchestra version but reviews scared me off. What do you think of the sound quality? Also does your copy of IWW have the correct track list? Mine is out of order.

The quality on my illmatic orchestra edition is solid. That’s crazy that the tracklist is out of on IWW. I’ll have to check and see if mine is out of order. I have the 25 year anniversary edition.
