it’s crazy. To think if they stick to same schedule we get KD III in 8 months

I would love to know why they dropped this album. Not that I’m beefin. Did they find themselves making some 90s type joints and decided to put this together quick? Is there some joints already made they’re holding out for KD III

I'd love to know how Nas even had time to record like this. Seems like he's been everywhere this year. Doing shows, podcasting, Master Class, directed a documentary, etc.

I feel like this album was recorded in a very short amount of time. Wouldn’t be surprised if they really locked in the last two months and perfected some concepts and songs and realized they had a hit on their hands.

Nas CAN record fast when he wants to. His thing has always been second guessing himself or wanting to go in another direction.

Word up, let people make shyt up in their mind for their own head canon.

Lost Tapes was not an album or even released like one, it was advertised as a collection of old songs that didn't make his albums or songs that leaked and disappeared.

I don't even count his lost Tapes as part of his solo run

Exactly. Just like LT 2 was just a bunch of cutting floor left overs from Untitled, HHIS, and a few of his other joints. I wasn't saying that the Lost Tapes series was bad they just not studio albums.

Blueprint 2 was a double disc my guy. It was counted twice. shyt was 1.5. And I SAID he had the mainstream fans still. But u are rewriting history by saying it wasn’t a difference. It was. Nas had the streets. Jay didn’t. There’s even nikkas like Star who was on the radio making fun of Jay for it. Name a year where Jay was the top selling rapper overall tho. I bet u can’t. Cause there was always someone right there or right over him. He’s been the most consistent. Well until this Nas run. Either way ur annoying as fukk. U got weird tendencies bro. By the way Stillmatic was over 2 million records sold. They never paid for the certification. God’s Son sold around the same amount as BP2 without the Beyoncé/Pac stimulus or the pop singles.

I agree, but God's Son had "Thugz Mansion NY" which also had a video. I was disappointed with it being acoustic, but that Nas verse was still crazy. I hoped it would've been a touched up version of the Anthony Hamilton one that was already out.

This muhfukka keeps begging for that Timbaland

I'm still waiting on the full version of that snippet to drop. I would've rather not known they did any music together, but it's torture to know they got some heat in the vaults that hasn't been released. Nas said it was powerful and Large Professor even said the songs Nas did with Timbaland were crazy.

Seems like the pandemic was an awakening for him. Once lockdown hit, he made recording new music his #1 priority.

Hit-Boy made Kayne look really bad with these last 3 and maybe 4 albums

kayne could not get nothing like this out of nas :picard:

I'm a be honest, I would prefer if Kanye doesn't work on a Nas joint again b/c of that NASIR joint that he just threw together like it was some last min shyt. Every since that joint Nas been on his shyt.

"Beautiful Life" off Lost Tapes 2 is one of the my favorite Nas songs ever
I like it but it’s the same beat Nipsey used for Keys 2 The City so it doesn’t hit as hard as it would if I never heard it. I would love a blend of both songs though

Black Rock N Roll? nikka there's no such thing of Black Rock N Roll we created Rock N Roll, nikka Blues, actually Rhythm & Blues is the father and Blues is The Grandfather of Rock N Roll. You don't even know what you speak about, psychedelic soul we can do that also

Go on with your day homeboy I will save you embarrassment you will about to receive.

And being a DJ don't mean shyt because if you was a DJ your digging needs to learn the history
