Speaking of Salaam, he said on hot 97 this that he has retired from music. He said he wanted to stop when he turned 50
Does he just DJ now?

Mick Jenkins sounds like the name of a late 80's WWF wrestler
That makes me know that......they had the right idea in the beginning, and all they had to do was elevate. See, what they do is, they have certain formulas. They have certain formulas, they just update 'em.....with the times, and everything. So, the style of the rhymes is elevated, the style of the beats is elevated. But it's still Nas and Hit-Boy. And there's always a message involved.
He lives in Miami and runs a small Hip Hop musesum/Art Gallery.
You still haven’t heard Burden Of Proof?
Multiple things but definitely focused on his museum.Does he just DJ now?
Where the tracklist at?
Jesus christ
Meanwhile you Nas fanboys will call this basic ass shyt a classic
Just listen to the weak ass snare on this shyt....sounds like he recorded these drums over a cellphone speaker....he woulda been better off just getting somebody to beatbox
U know Salaam did more beats for Nas in that era than the producers u stated right? And honestly I wasn't even all that a fan of Salaam's beats for Nas. They had a few joints together, but, aside from Hit Boy, I'd rather see Nas work with the cats from the Stillmatic/ God's Son era.
Large Pro, Primo, LES, The Hitmen and the Alchemist of that ERA ! (when he was lacing Nas with like Mastermind, Book of Rhymes and My Way)
