Nas doesn’t do Payola and he’s not on a Major label to influence these so called Journalists and DJ’s.
Thats the reason. We can complain about it all day long but the answer is the music business is rigged and has been for decades. I’m just happy that Apple music put Nas front and center on the Rap Life playlist and Tidal put him front and center on Rap Caviar.
If Nas was on Def Jam releasing the SAME albums he’d have more of a higher profile. I guarantee it. That said if he was in Def Jam he wouldn’t be dropping 6 albums on 3 years so go figure
