Nigs be like super fans bro, lol. I ain’t even knockin them, I respect it cause Esco deserves that…but damn. A huge lover of someone’s art can admit when something isn’t great from the artist. A super fan tho… they think everything the artist ever says, does or thinks is mind altering greatness. Nigs trippin,. I’m almost a super fan but nah, my objectivity won’t allow it

Before Magic 2 the super fans said "classic on the way" as they do for every Nas album. It drops and a lot of people aren't feeling Magic 2 at all or thought it was clearly a step down from their previous work. Super fans are saying it's greatness as expected. People start ranking the albums and many have Magic 2 near the bottom. Super fans rank the albums and some of them have Magic 2 near the bottom in the same spot as the people they argued with for saying they didn't like the album
So to them all the albums are classics but Magic 2 and KD1 are just lower on the classic tier
I'm not buying it. They're just fanatics and are more concerned with keeping up the appearance of being loyal. They have no objectivity and lack the ability to make good faith arguments. When people say they don't like the music their go to attack is to say that person is not a fan. Nas can drop a bad album but they won't allow themselves to say so (see the Nasir thread). They even got people walking on egg shells and using disclaimers like "I'm a big Nas fan but...Nas is the GOAT and all but...
" before/after they voice a critique so they don't get ambushed 
I'm waiting to see what the play will be when Nas starts working with other producers. As long as Nas was loyal to Hit Boy they were loyal to him by extension. If you even spelled P-r-e-m... you got called a stuck in the 90's boom bap dusty who hates modern production. If Nas says he's working with Premier next album do they go with blind allegiance to Nas or stand on their square for what they said during the Hit Boy run?
