Nas - Magic 2 (Discussion thread)

I've actually gone back to KD1 and like it a lot more now than I did then. I found it a bit simple at the time, but I can appreciate a more laidback "easy listening" type Nas album at this point

KD1 is a great “night time listening” album either in the whip or at the house. I always play it after a long day getting off set in the car on the way home

Speaking of Alchemist. He’s one of the reasons I ended up getting wit my oldest son’s mother. I can’t tell u if that’s a good or a bad thing at this point but still. lol. We connected even more in conversation speaking on Alchemist produced joints back then.

Hit Boy did those joints. But didn’t get the appreciation he deserved for them. shyt it’s part of the reason him and Kanye fell out. Cause Kanye was fronting on him tagging his beats n shyt. And he lost out on a lot of money and recognition for it.

I still can’t believe Hit Boy forgave Kanye and started working with him again after Kanye told him to his face that he tried to blackball him

I met ALC at Rock the Bells Jones Beach me & my girl told him to his face he needs to work with Nas again . AL cool showed us love chopped it with us for few. We met Statik at that same show he was shocked we knew who he was good times. Same show when Meth pulled Joe to the side we thought he was about to get his ass whopped again

He usually gives light impressions, states what his favorite songs are and drops one or two bars. He also leaked the whole tracklisting two days before it was publicly released and confirmed there were no features.

Ya'll are really overrating Alchemist here and I don't know if its to downplay Hit or whatever. This has gotten ridiculous at this point.
