Bro I'm lost but this seems intriguing.
Are you saying what I think you're saying?
What's the breakdown?

Magic is a smoother listen to throw on when u don’t wanna skip nothing and it’s easier to get thru since it’s shorter. I wouldn’t say it’s better tho but Magic is def close. That's like a 7-8/10 to me
So wait, I guess you all prefer Magic to KD3 then ?
Nas makes sure he performs 40-16 Building at shows for a reason my boy. LolTo each his own I suppose, I thought that was just ok, I can see speechless tho

Not only Havoc. A few classics spawned from that beat.
Al also did Win Or Lose.
I think he's implying Hitboy isn't involved with the album? Idk the guy is hard to read, he's always posting like he's off his meds.Bro I'm lost but this seems intriguing.

I've actually gone back to KD1 and like it a lot more now than I did then. I found it a bit simple at the time, but I can appreciate a more laidback "easy listening" type Nas album at this pointLike my bro @spliz Magic is damn near like Illmatic in the sense that I can throw it on for nonstop burst of dope Nas raps over dope beats.
I think KD3 has 0 skippables, but it's a bit longer for better and for worse.
Gun to my head:
KD3: 5/5 , the most impressive album they've made.
Magic: 5/5 , pure piff
KDII: 4/5, a bit too long and a few songs don't do much for me anymore.
KD: 4/5, a bit more consistent than II but it doesn't reach the highs of it either.
You can tell that both Nas and Hit got better and sharper with each project - Magic and KD3 really reaching the highest levels.
Alchemist Top 10 man…how could he not be? Too much fire and classic ish, and the tenure is crazy. Hitboy might be Top 25 tho…specially after all these Nas joints straight
I agree. It's the most accessable and nearly as consistent as III and Magic.I've actually gone back to KD1 and like it a lot more now than I did then. I found it a bit simple at the time, but I can appreciate a more laidback "easy listening" type Nas album at this point
nikka gave Saigon a better beat than Just Blaze ever gave him. Classic shyt.Alchemist Top 10 man…how could he not be? Too much fire and classic ish, and the tenure is crazy. Hitboy might be Top 25 tho…specially after all these Nas joints straight
Havoc has talked about this, when him and Nas link up they usually just end up hanging out instead of making music and they don't want to ruin that.I personally always wanted a Havoc-produced Nas album, before Preme and even Alc. Imagine how that shyt would come out if they’re both in pocket and vibing, 🥹. Nigs love each other, don’t know why they haven’t made it happen
Hit Boy did those joints. But didn’t get the appreciation he deserved for them. shyt it’s part of the reason him and Kanye fell out. Cause Kanye was fronting on him tagging his beats n shyt. And he lost out on a lot of money and recognition for it.Hit Boy was huge before working with Nas. People just downplayed the work like most everything that's commercial or mainstream on here. Hate it or love it, "In Paris" was EVERYWHERE. There's also "Clique". He did Lil Wayne's "Drop The World" featuring Eminem and Kendrick Lamar's "Backseat Freestyle". "Somewhere In America" for Jay Z. He also did "Flawless" and "Sorry" for Beyonce. I'm not saying he was a top tier producer on the strength of those songs, but he wasn't some bum either.
Verzuz changed his career IMO, because since the Verzuz against Boi-1da, he was doing full albums. He premiered "Blue Benz" on that Verzuz, which is where we first found out Nas was dropping some brand new music.
