Speechless > Abracadabra
Meet Joe Black > Office Hours
Black Magic > Ugly
Motion > 40-16 Building
Bokeem Woodine = Hollywood Gangster
Wu is for the children > Earving Magic Johnson
What This All Really Means > Wave Gods
Slow It Down > The Truth
Pistols On Your Album Cover = Dedicated

This was hard because a lot of these tracks are very close. And truth is the track list doesn’t line up perfectly anyway caus The Truth is more simLike Nas was spitting on The Truth but he was floating in Slow It Down. I rock with Black Magic more than Ugly cause I’m not big on drumless beats. Truth is these albums are damn near neck and neck. I give Magic 2 the edge cause it’s a little more energetic whereas Magic 1 is more laid back.

Who remember this joint? Nas went crazy. I always found it strange that Jay didn’t participate. Song still gives me chills honestly cause of what was happening at the time.

I remember seeing this video ONCE i think on MTV and somehow I KNEW Nas was gonna be on it. This is my first time seeing this in like 22 years lmao.

Why are you surprised Jay wasn’t on it? Jay was at the HEIGHT of his “Me me me drink in the wonder of ME” bag during this time. That nikka wasn’t gonna rap about anything that didn’t pertain to HIM

jay didn't participate because 9/11 happened after jay premiered Takeover that same year on summer jam...just put 2 and 2 together....you can't get both of them together during this time at all

jay did some freestyle about giving back to 9/11 victims separately, but the blueprint dropped the same day as 9/11, so he namedropped his album with 9/11 and said some of his album proceeds went to charity

having one side of the answers from nas point of view is not enough to get the full picture...just see the full scope of things of how things were

also there's old videos of nas talking about 9/11 and there is supposedly an unreleased track of nas rapping about 9/11 just to make sense of it all

Hollywood Gangster is the best song on both projects
