My brother feels the same way. lol.Yall are out of your damn minds man, lol, don't do this.
Its not better then KD1 either. People are sleeping on that album now.
I read that as KD1. Anyone who thinks this album as good as I think it is, is better than the first Magic needs their ears examined
Agree just ran back KD1, it’s a great album. Its not better then KD1 either. People are sleeping on that album now.
Idk about that, Nas is better on Magic 2 as a whole. I think mostThat…and…like all the songs just being better.
Crazy thing is an Abracadabra is a banger.Idk about that, Nas is better on Magic 2 as a whole. I think most
I think the appeal of Magic is that it was a throwback feel, plus the wow factor cuz it came unexpectedly on Christmas. Hit took a minimalistic approach on the production (which Nas usually excels at) and it was great. Magic 2 was a lot more ambitious and I think the highs are just as high as Magic’s
Magic just feels more traditional, but I think there’s moments one this one where he does the same thing just as well. The last 3 tracks capture that throwback classic Nas feel, but he also gave us the bangers and other shyt on this album
We made fun of 50 being on the feature but I enjoy Office Hours more than the lone feature on Magic with Wave Gods. 50 & Nas captures that Queens essence more, that gritty rawness. A$AP Rocky’s a good rapper n all but him & Nas pairing was ok… a nikka really wanted an extra Nas verse
I honestly think if they came with another intro as explosive as Speechless, the view of Magic 2 would be completely different. Speechless was a game changing opening lol. And Abracadabra is dope, but on the experimental side for a lot of Nas’ core fans
I try not to compare the 2. You can tell Magic was catered to more of his core and Magic 2 was catering more to the modern, experimental side mixing in the sound of core the last 3 songs. But I agree nas definitely kills it throughout. Both are dope.I love the album. Personally, the production on Magic 2 is superior to Magic. It doesn't take a genius to realize the beats are richer on this one. It's a more diverse, refreshing sound. Nas kills it throughout.

50 is the worst feature of the bunch, including foxy. And it's not just speechless... there's no track where he got as loose as he did on The Truth. Magic also ended better with Dedicated, and no random track at the end and no filler intro.Idk about that, Nas is better on Magic 2 as a whole. I think most

Everybody has their own personal taste but yea I agree. I think it's a much better album actually. If u liked some of the modern sounding stuff on Magic 2 the modern bangers on KD1 blow those out the water. Its not better then KD1 either. People are sleeping on that album now.
All of this. Exactly what l was thinking before reading your post. Speechless is something else as an intro, he was spitting on The Truth better than any other track in the Magic series, and Dedicated is something else as an outro. And for me Ugly is some vivid, moody, atmospheric poetry. Not to mention my the face I made the first time I heard "KD3 on the way, this just to feed the buzz."50 is the worst feature of the bunch, including foxy.
