NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
Smokin is okay. Got Yourself is fire. I agree with you on the others. Like I said, remove 2, maybe 3 joints, and the album is damn near flawless.

How is it arguable that these Hitboy shyts have highs matching the highs on Stillmatic? No they don’t, lol, imo.

Out of all 5 Hitboy albums, I think I'd maybe give like 7 songs an A grade. On Stillmatic alone, I'd give 7 songs an A grade. Lol. All the Hitboy shyts range from pretty good to very good...Stillmatic is a borderline classic, different tier. Didn't Stillmatic get 5 mics? Not that it matters, I'm just thinking about it now. It didn't deserve 5 imo because of them 2 ehh joints and the 1 dud...but still, 11 songs of greatness?? You can argue that can still get 5.
It deserved a 5 if Blueprint did. Also if Reasonable Doubt was able to be retro rated as a 5 and they didn’t do the same shyt with IWW. Not every 5 Mic album is flawless. It doesn’t have to be. shyt even Illmatic had One Time 4 Ya Mind. While fire, it wasn’t like the rest of the album.

Blueprint is a way more consistent album with only one song that I'd consider mid and damn near every song besides that is a classic. I could see the argument that BP is better than Reasonable Doubt

Smokin is a hood classic. I’m not even gonna entertain the Ether and Destroy and Rebuild argument. What Goes Around is a classic Nas record as well. nikka went crazy on that. Hotep babble? No way.

Songs 2,3,4,5 and 7 on BP have the weakest replay value

You think Nas and Hit should still drop something end of this year or hold off and turn to next year?

I like the album but it’s raised some fatigue for some listeners

Quantity doesn’t equal Quality

Imagine Nas combined KD1-2 and trimmed the fat and just had KD1 be that

Then 2 or 3 years later combined KD3 and Magic’s, trimmed the fat and dropped that

:blessed::blessed::blessed:

Now we in Illmatic/IWW/Stillmatic territory

1. Braveheart Party never has and never will exist.

2. Smokin' is better than every Hit-Boy era track except The Cure.

Peace.

Smokin is cool, it's like a 3.25/5 type of song, i always felt it was kind of out of place on Stillmatic.

Rule is like a 3.5/5 track, dope song but them 2 prevent Stillmatic being a classic to me.

My Country is dope though.
