That's NOT happening :francis:

I don't even need Nas to do a whole album like that but it would be nice if he did more features to get on some different production.
He'd sound great over a beat like Tyson vs Ali that's not too grimy and is more like his current vibe.

He did a song with Benny 3 years ago but it's in the vault because it's a chick song and Benny didn't think that's what people wanted to hear from them. Conway been reaching out to him and promising a verse for over a year but nothing happened.

Yeah, my hopes aren't exactly high that that happens either. But I do remember Conway saying he wanted to get in the studio with Nas to make some music. During his sessions with J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League.

You're right though, Nas would definitely sound dope over a track like "Tyson vs Ali." A lot of the production on TT4 would sound great with Nas on it. Benny spoke about working with him a few times. A lot of the Griselda MC's want to get sh*t done with the Golden Era rappers. And they should. That'd be dope to see, at some point.

Supposed “real” hip hop fans don’t even like the shyt they PROCLAIM is real lmao or else Lost Tapes 2, Michael, Krs One’s album from last year, and Skyzoo’s All The Brilliant Things would be platinum albums and Break Beats with Premo and Nas would be a platinum single.

fukk outta here with that “real” Hip Hop shyt. So many artists have made good faith efforts in taking it back to the “essence” only to flop. Joey Badass put out a FANTASTIC album produced by Statik Selectah (a son of modern day Boom Bap if ever there was one) last year and it only sold about 20K first week. Just WHERE in Carmen Sandiego’s muthafukking WORLD are all of these “Real” Hip Hop fans?!?! Are they all broke? Can’t afford $9.99 for an iTunes download or too busy to stream an album a few times on their preloaded streaming platform?

Seems to ME that “real” Hip Hop fans only show up when its time to complain
You broke it down perfectly.

For everyone that says they don’t like that black magic, play it with a lady next to you and I guarantee you will enjoy the song after that. That song is a vibe

Unsurprisingly I’ve seen people say it’s gotten better over the day when they played it more

People who aren’t super Nas fans say it’s good

And the guys who want to hear Nas only with their favorite producers have said it’s wack and won’t re-listen after one run

It’s still early and I learned from Streets Disciple that opinions can change dramatically for the worse after a few weeks but yeah this isn’t bad and I don’t think this is cause for the usual alarmist things people feel about Nas sonically

:wow: Nas does it again and never disappoints me. Nas is half man, half amazing, and never runs out of Magic with his music.

Seriously, 50 Cent has been trash for more than 15 years. That's what the best he came up with? :what: especially you on the same track with da gawd, Nas.

People that talk about Nas production are just running with narratives at this point.

ok, I just ran these songs in reverse order and the sequencing sounds so much better.

I made a playlist that starts with Pistols On Your Album Cover and ends with Abracadabra and then I threw the 21 savage song at the end though.

This sounds like how it was supposed to be.

He's the one who declared that hip hop is dead... he put the burden on himself. lol

You clearly didn’t listen to that album

He put the burden on ALL MC’s to do better and to take the craft more seriously, he outlined what led to Hip Hop’s “death” and laid a blueprint for its eventual resurrection and redemption. And he’s followed that blueprint himself.
