First time I've seen a Nas album recieved worse on this site than anywhere else.:pachaha:

Might have to do with how Coli receives some Nas albums though. Even here we have a decent amount of folks putting KD and KDII ahead of Magic and KDIII, and I don't usually see that everywhere else.

The 50 appearance reminded me of when he showed up randomly on the title track on "Encore". Just shows up says some random bars and bounces, leaving me wondering why he even bothered to show up.:troll: Nas cleaned up nicely though, so track is still 🔥.

Nice short project. Listened on the system last night but I'm basically half asleep. Fresh ears this morning in the car. It's good. Nas is energetic. He carried the beats to me. I kind of want Hitboy to get a little more experimental. The vibe is still the same as the previous albums. I guess that makes sense. Hitboy's DNA is the same, he does the Hitboy thing. As much as I enjoy it, I would like to get a few more looks from other producers. Like I want Hitboy to Executive Produce beats by other beatmakers. Like the way Kanye does it. It has to be Hitboy because Hit's the only one that can get Nas to keep grinding. Whatever Hit's doing, Nas is totally comfortable there. Keep that going.

I wouldn't mind the next album to have a lot of features. That little KRS snippet sounded hot.

Crazy. My brother told me I was out of my rabbit ass mind.. (bars… don’t even ask me how)… and he wasn’t even that much of a fan to magic as I was… this is why I don’t talk too much. This dude literally makes balanced music for everyone…. And this morning is hitting way more than last night… all I need now is to give it that “whip” test. The common thing is that he’s just having fun at this point. Effortless…

I will say that I have like about a 25 track playlist with all of my favorite songs from the Nas + Hitboy run over the past few years that sounds incredible in the sequence i put it in … i’m thankful that hit seemed to unlock a new passion or desire to do music from Nasir at this stage of his career because without him I don’t think I get 25 new Nas songs of that caliber … but as far as this album goes I’m feel like only three will be added to that playlist so far “Slow it down” “Black Magic” and “What this all really means” :ehh:

:comeon: you think people don't know who that is?

50 was entertaining, I think album was cool 6 or 7/10, but since most contemporary hip hop is terrible it seems better than it is. Nas probably the only rapper that really will never fall off.

I ran it one time last night. a couple of times on the ride to the doctors and then work.

Black Magic is my shyt. I like the Children of the corn sample. That Memphis bounce..

Pistol on the album cover. The My Philosophy drums. Hit knows his shyt

Earvin Magic Johnson is my shyt

Office Hours is really good. Seems like 50 just jumped on the last minute. They need to run it back honestly. Im not mad at the final product. its funny that I really just wanna really here where 50 is these day on the mic, and it wasnt long enough to judge. Im still listening. I aint rating nothing.
