I expect all the naysayers to stay off the kd4 thread in a few months... right?
Don't live yo life being a Bozo
Grab yo balls n say fukk Nas I'm done
bytching n Complaining is for women n children

I expect the grey beard trolls to do what they do
You can’t handle people on the internet criticizing an album in a discussion thread?
From what I see most people are saying it’s good but not great.
Hate the word snowflake but Gotdamn….

True, it is, Im just sayin if Primo really got in his bag I'm sure he's still capable to crank out a few bangers.

Magic 2 is ok, but i think now I'd like to see Nas work with some different producers again after working with Hit the last 3 years.

:heh:

Definitely sounds better today in a second listen. I have no gripes with this record. Initial impression, I’d place it above KD1 but I’d have to see how it holds up overtime to be honest.

I like it after a 2nd full listen, The more contemporary sounding beats might be a turn off, and just plainly not that great in comparison to other tracks in the series.

Still to me the only track i would call weak and skippable is that HIV song aka (Earvin Magic Johnson) :mjlol: :troll: still shyt is skippable

Beats aside, nas was really dope on this album.

I like he shouted out daz and kurupt and quoted kurupt on one track. I know Yayo is going crazy after that shout out lol, the 50 feature wasn't as bad as people said imo, his voice just don't sound the same no more.

He referenced alot of rappers and dope stories from back in the days, I always like when nas drops retrospective lyrics.

But yeah this hitboy run gotta stop now, they made history with 5 projects but please pass the torch to another producer, this is the GOAT of hip hop, I don't wanna have hitboy hijack the goat during an entire 2nd wind.

An Alc and Nas project could genuinely go down as an all time hip hop classic album. We don't need anymore generic trap beats.

I just finished my first listen. Will revise this after I think about it some more…

Rafters:
Black Magic
Motion
Bokeem Woodbine
Pistols on Your Album Cover

Bushes:
Everything else*

I didn’t hate Office Hours and Slow it Down but as far as this project goes I didn’t like them. If that makes sense.

And I don’t like some of the beats. And I always hate Nas double time flow. I do appreciate Nas switching it up from track to track… will help when I condense all this Nas & HitBoy material down to 20ish tracks.
