Don’t w/ fif, and bookeem woodbine are solid. The rest sound like he’s trying too hard to be “modern.”

<b>Why doesn’t Nas work w/ Griselda’s production teams<b> and Alc? Tired of this faux-ATL sounding ish, I want it to sound NYC

Not a fan of hit-boy with legacy NYC artist

It’s not bad, just doesn’t interest me

:whoa:

Nas and Mega just had a collaboration over an Alchemist beat. Considering all the fan fare Alchemist has here. Ya'll don't even talk about "Glorious".

I hate when people say this. I love Glorious. Same shyt with the Premo joint he did recently. Both good songs. You want people to build monuments for all the tracks they like. Just because we don't talk about them ad nauseam doesn't mean we didn't like them

No. I'm not saying that. Instead of saying, "well Nas was just on an Alc beat and that was dope", you got people referencing Alc production for artists with nothing to do with Nas.

Nas needs a Westside Gunn approach production. I still go back to their past songs they made while blowing up.
I'd be on board with this a couple years ago but I think West has fallen off a little bit in terms of his curation skills. Pray For Haiti, Kiss The Ring, 10, and Nacksaw Jim Duggan all sound pretty much the same to me on production. West is spamming Conductor, Monk, and Denny LaFlare at this point, and beat after beat have the wobble sound effect and stretched out sample pack sounds. I really fukk with all 3 of those producers too, don't get me wrong. I just think he did a better job putting together production on stuff like Supreme Blientelle, and Hermes 6 and 7. He was in the zone at that time.
