but ill challenge you to do one thing.
take some of gucci mane top songs and read through the lyricism. now take some of jay's radio songs and do the same.
shyt on both sides is so simplified and catchy sing a long like its ridiculous. jay just stop caring about lyricism, and started caring more about what people can sing along to as they listen to it on the radio and at his concerts. he trying to make every line he spit a quotable saying to be repeated on twitter and facebook, rather than really delving into the mastery of lyricism. gucci mane is the exact same way. a lot of they songs they saying a bunch of nothing.
and im one of the hugest jay fans, but i have to be real with it.
