like many of y'all saying Nas continues being in his bag... changed up the flow on a couple of tracks.. sounded eminemish* was welcomed.. but the beats although hitboy was very versatile didn't seem to be hitting as much..
i like the second half of album better .. again based of first listen.

I guarantee they pretty much trash the album on the next Juan Ep. Cipher will barely have listened to it and Rosenberg will shyt on it because it's not Jay or Kendrick.

This album is effectively confirmation that Nas is the greatest rapper of all time. I’m not sure how the GOAT discussion could go any other way. He is 100% in pocket on this, it’s like watching a veteran boxer hitting all combinations, a champion tennis player serving aces. In my opinion this is Hit’s chef d'oeuvre. The beat switches are nuts, the drums are hard but they give Nas space to showcase his pen. On first listen I actually thought the second half was a bit weaker but having run through it a few times I just don’t think that’s true. Please bang this in the whip, it’s made for big speakers - even great headphones (mine are decent Bose) don’t do it justice.
