I think I’m ready to admit this is better than KD1…
My two biggest problem with KD1.
1. Some of the songs are too short.
2. The middle of that album really slows the album down. "Replace Me", "Til The The War Is Won", "All Bad".......There's no need to have three song dedicated to women be back-back-back on an album.
'Replace Me' 'TTWIW' and 'All Bad'are phenomenal back to back to back..... and the album loses zero steam at that point
IMO maybe if ''TTWIW'' was removed (I really hate Lil Durk's verse on that song) the album would've been more cohesive IMO but the albums gets back on track once ''The Definition'' kicks in
'TTWIW' is the best song of the 3. I rock with Lil Durk heavy though and he did what should be expected of him on that song. Them strategically removing 'This Ain't Love, but I Love It' was a good decision. Now that would of been overkill.
Till The War Is Won is a song Nas specifically wanted to record and have on the album. He told Hit Boy exactly what he wanted to sample and exactly what he was going to say. So thats a song that was always destined to make the album.
I'd rather take Replace Me off if we're removing one of the "girl" songs

"all bad" is one of the better songs that Nas has recorded......All Bad is also about Niki Minaj
Was it Hit-Boy's idea to have Durk on the track?
Never, Replace Me is one of the best Rnb sounding songs Nas has ever made, it really should have been a hit.
Yeah, I agree. I've always wondered how far that song would've went if he was still on a major.

I like the song but i've never been in love with it like that. I think both No Phony Love and Brunch On Sundays are MUCH better than Replace Me

Stuff like No Phony Love just hits different when you've loved and lost
