Till The War Is Won is a song Nas specifically wanted to record and have on the album. He told Hit Boy exactly what he wanted to sample and exactly what he was going to say. So thats a song that was always destined to make the album.

I'd rather take Replace Me off if we're removing one of the "girl" songs

Man, it's called "Replace Me," not "Remove Me." It stays.

I kinda wish there was a place for "This Ain't Love, But I Love It," but I understand why it didn't make the album. The most it could have been is a bonus track.

Same here. I like that it works as an intro, but unlike some of Nas's other great intros it's still a fully fleshed out song. Also the beat switch toward the end when he says "it's Nas till I'm gone" is one of my favorite parts of the album.

Point is Bleek is going to hard for Jay in the same manner that Jungle, Wiz, or Nashawn would go hard for Nas. Jungle has already said that Nas could do a Versuz against FIVE MC’s on the same day, and I was shocked he kept it that humble lol.

The point is that I don’t expect fair and balanced assessments of ANYTHING concerning Nas coming from the Jay-Z stan brigade. That includes Elliot Wilson, Memphis Bleek, Guru, 9th Wonder, and Joe Budden. Any and EVERYTHING they say about Nas will be tinged with bitterness because they can’t let go of Hov’s one and only true public L.


This is known. Memphis Bleek HIMSELF has admitted Jay-Z lost the battle. They gotta hold that L forever and they’ll never give Nas his true props because deep down they know Nas knows he won and that he don’t really give a fukk what they have to say so they spit out the most wild shyt for reactions
