Till The War Is Won is a song Nas specifically wanted to record and have on the album. He told Hit Boy exactly what he wanted to sample and exactly what he was going to say. So thats a song that was always destined to make the album.

I'd rather take Replace Me off if we're removing one of the "girl" songs
Replace me is dope!

Lemongrass, cherries, alkaline water
My two biggest problem with KD1.

1. Some of the songs are too short.
2. The middle of that album really slows the album down. "Replace Me", "Til The The War Is Won", "All Bad".......There's no need to have three song dedicated to women be back-back-back on an album.
I share the same sentiment, particularly with point #2. None of them are bad songs, that run just slowed down the flow of the album too much to me.

Yeah I think those 3 songs are great songs to put on a playlist and are good singles but when I’m actually playing the album from start to finish I get the urge to skip them when they come up.

Considering Lauryn Hill, Eminem, and EPMD all appear on KD2, I'm thinking KD2 was the secret project he was talking about last year.

Could be. He did say that halfway thru recording KD1 they knew they had to do another one.

But my theory is that the secret album is something that he started before KD1. Then he changed direction with Hitboy. I say that because he was already talking about the secret project like the same week KD1 dropped. I don't think he would've teased it as a secret project that early in the recording process.

Weird question I'm about to ask (At least it's weird for me because I don't really care about album sales)

It was projected that KD2 did 56k units.....Considering that the physical albums don't ship out till Jan 28th
will those units that were pre-order booster the numbers from the first week numbers or were those physical units already counted?
