Why would Jungle put this negative energy around Nas’ song like this?
Jungle isn't a 19 year old kid from Chicago tho bro, I seriously doubt he means it how you think he means it. Why would he? He just thought that was a fly name to give a strain

Jungle was literally on camera on IG Live using new NY slang a couple weeks back. Lol. Young nikkas saying that shyt here now.
But think about it tho, why would he blatantly disrespect them guys? He wouldn't do that, there's no reason for it. Him and his brother speak nothing but highly about them and the Outlawz and all them guys involved now. I think he just thought it was a fire name for a strain bro, if I'm wrong and he means it on some "yeah, we smokin on that DRE pack, fukk them nikkas" type shyt then I'll be genuinely surprised.

I’m not saying Jungle is still on beef but you could tell in the Apple interview his framing and phrasing of the Bryant Park/ MTV music awards was different to Nas. Nas was more looking at it from perspective of two giants coming together and making peace. While Jungle still seeing it as a clash of crews and even when they talked about Pac he was more slightly negative in his phrasing about impact of Makaveli album and how he was coming for everyone.
not saying Jungle was dissing but his perspective is different to Nas. Even Nas had to jump in to disagree with Jungle about Pac. Jungle I feel sees song as saying ‘QB wasn’t scared of anyone’ while Nas more wrote it just to talk about how two guys who could get busy with their crews made peace

That’s what I noticed too. Nas even said “I don’t think they wanted that in the first place” and Jungle was like “nah I disagree I think they wanted to keep it goin”. Nas literally had to break down why he felt like they didn’t cause Jungle was going into it like “what if y’all never met in Bryant Park? He would diss u and everybody on that shyt and it woulda still been on”. Nas was like “but on the flip side it would’ve been one and done because he was gathering a bunch of east coast cats trying to create the one nation album”. What Jungle don’t understand is by that point Pac was reaching out to everybody he specifically didn’t have a problem with and squashin it. Alotta east coast rappers got a phone call from Pac. And Jungle is also rewriting shyt because people was sneak dissing Pac left n right when he started dissing Biggie. Hence why he said that line in Hit Em Up. Jungle also left out that Wiz n them was there and Wiz is the one who got surrounded first in the first place. Jungle kinda tried to frame it like the Bravehearts wasn’t there in the initial confrontation backstage.
