Ran Kings Disease back, smh that shyt is a classic. Don’t see how some fans dislike it.
2/2 Classics:wow:

I'm hoping it doesn't get to a point where people start dismissing King's Disease just because this one is better. We needed an album like that last year with all of the horrible shyt going on.

And without it, we wouldn't get this album. I hope people understand that. You don't get King's Disease II without King's Disease. The foundation was built last year, that's why this sequel had credibility before it came out. If the original KD sucked, nobody would have been interested in this one.

KD1 best album 2020
KD2 best album 2021
KD3...loading
:whew:

It's really scary to imagine them topping this, but it's only been months since the last one came out. I don't think they're fukking around at all either, Nas is killing beats effortlessly and Hit Boy is just getting better and better.
If KD3 drops and sounds better than 2 and 1 you gonna get pple relagating KD2 to a 4mic album like they doing with KD1:martin:

I wonder how Big and more importantly Mobb Deep would have received that, seeing Nas work with somebody who just aired them all out on wax and screaming at them to die.

:patrice:

And damn, Covid really fukked Reggie up.

I was gonna make a thread on this last week.. How would NY look at Nas if he wouldve got cool wit Pac and Bad Boy and Mobb didnt

I wonder if that wouldve been slight career suicide if no deaths would have occured

Was cool with Wutang crew who were not cool with Biggie n Bad Boy but were cool with Pac
Was cool with Daz n Kurupt
Was cool with DRE who was not cool with Pac

6 Degrees of Tupac :pachaha:

Was just about to post this. Boot Camp and Pac would have gotten even tighter than they already were if he had lived. He was basically a BCC affiliate at that point.

One Nation would have deaded all the "friend of my enemy is my enemy" shyt. Busta Rhymes, Wu, Nas, BCC, Greg Nice, Big Daddy Kane....some heavyweight NY names being cool with Pac would have eventually squashed that shyt by default.

And like Prodigy said, had Pac lived, E-Money Bags would have squashed their beef cuz he was super cool with Pac. But it all initially would have been awkward for Nas I'm sure.

Thats why he said be was trying to squash the entire beef not just settle differences between him and Pac.

Nas could have easily brokered peace between Pac and Mobb Deep. Their shyt wasn’t that serious

Brokering peace between Pac and Biggie would have been the true challenge. I don’t see how that happens in 96 after Hit Em Up

yeh exactly. to me the beef between Death Row and Bad Boy/ Pac vs BIG completely different to what eventually became "East vs West". Now obviously the former led to the latter, and the lines blurred but the beef Mobb Deep and Nas had, and others could easily be squashed with a conversation as per what Nas and Pac did in Bryant Park

I don't though believe BIG and Pac even if they didn't get killed would have stopped beefing. It's just like Ja and 50. Too much serious shyt behind that to just be squashed.

After listening to KD2 for a little here are my ranking of Nas albums

Illmatic
It Was Written
Stillmatic
Life Is Good
I Am
God’s Son
Untitled
Nasir
King’s Disease 2
King’s Disease
Hip Hop is Dead

Nastradamus
Street’s Disciple

I didn’t include Lost Tapes 1 and 2 because they’re technically compilation albums, but the first Lost Tapes would definitely be in my Top 3

Ummm.... you're putting Nasir over both KD albums and HHID?? :scust:

Really?

What I will say is Pac was easing off Biggie by 7 Day Theory. He barely even dissed Biggie or mentioned his name on that.
