Honestly I don't think Kanye and Nas are a good fit creatively. If it was pre Graduation or so sure, but they're in completely different arenas musically, and Kanye's prime is long gone. Plus it seems as if he spent the least amount of time on Nasir compared to the rest of the Wyoming albums.
Poppa Was A Playa. and I LOVE Still Dreamin. If that shyt was on Common's Be it would be considered a classic. lolThis.
While I like "Still Dreamin" and "Let The Be Light", neither was among the best from either of them.

Lebron posted a story saying he hasn't stopped listening to KD2 since it dropped.
Another thing. Referring to the "double time" conversation. On Poppa Was A Playa Nas rapped pretty much the same speed consistency as Biggie did on Notorious Thugs and noone would ever dare say Nas was rapping double time on Poppa Was A Playa."Poppa Was A Playa" is smooth. There's also "We Major", but I felt other songs on LR more than that one.
Im starting to feel like this album has longer legs than the last one. I have a feeling Nas could chart again this week.Bron has 95 million followers on IG...free promo for Nasir the GOAT![]()
not only that, I think KD2 will make people who missed out on KD1 go back and check it out. One of my homeboys from college who I used to talk hip hop with and who has always been a big Hov stan/Nas critic texted me out the blue like "Yo this new Nas Kings Disease 2 is flamesIm starting to feel like this album has longer legs than the last one. If you dont like this KD2 then honestly im not sure what else you are looking for from him.Nas is my GOAT but I haven’t really felt like his last 4 albums.

I was in the same boat prior to LIG..I felt like everything between Stillmatic and LIG ranged from Average to Pretty Good...no greatness. LIG was real good though...KD was even better (musically)...and KD2 is just straight Greatness. My son been on an upswing for almost 10 years, imoNas is my GOAT but I haven’t really felt like his last 4 albums.
It wasn't as dense conceptually/lyrically as most Nas projects are. As a super Nas fan, him lightening up the content density in exchange for super upgrading musically was a welcome adjustment...for others not so much. They are definitely the silent minority though, most people loved KD1, from fair-weathers to die-hards.Ran Kings Disease back, smh that shyt is a classic. Don’t see how some fans dislike it.
