I struggled ranking those the most. IGYP is my 2nd favorite Nas song tough to leave that off the list same with TIIB. I would rank all those songs before Watch dem nikkaz still a classic tho. I wasn't the biggest on Full Circle maybe my expectations was to high

Esco started the 2nd verse of Rare the same way BIG started the 2nd verse of Your nobody til Somebody kills you. Then shouted out the song at the end of the verse
You caught that too? Now, I'm thinking it's intentional because every time I hear the song, I'm like, "This sounds like Biggie's second verse."
His first verse, he says he's studying Biggie. Then he starts the next verse imitating him, and ends it by referencing the same song he imitated. He made all of that connect, and you don't even realize it until you see it pointed out.
That's a sign of first-level writing.
