Nah, I remember that in real time LOOOONG before I even knew Vlad was a thing, since like 2006 or so. And to be honest...it was kinda right. HHID and Untitled don't exactly have the strongest production. It's not bad, but serviceable at best.

for better or for worst Nas was in his own lane and space in that era post God's Son. he really didn't give a fukk about anyone. just did what he wanted. some of it fell short for sure from a fan's perspective but what I respect from Nas he was in his own artistic lane and wasn't doing what the crowd were doing.

The transition from Ed Lover announcing Pac's death to 40 Side is chilling. The sequencing of this album is ill.

Every time I hear the end of Death Row East and Ed Lover making that announcement , I think back to being young and hoping PAC would survive.
