The have the right to voice their opinion on a public figure. You out here :cape: for dude like his kin or something. You looking real crazy right now and derailing the thread. Just stop it.

I could care less about dude. I said it then and I'll say it again. The REVIEW DOESN'T MATTER.

I didn't derail the thread. Posters continuing to post about dude and the review did that. What aren't you directing that same energy to THEM. I initially said the review didn't matter and posters continued to quote me on it. Call them out. Matter of fact, just move on from it altogether.

Eminem's technical lyrical ability is without doubt. But.....man. He just doesn't fit in that song. Like you listen to the song and everything is great....but then he jumps in. It just.....doesn't fit. It's like a squared peg round hole situation. It's like putting Limp Bizkit on a Beyonce album. Nas and EMPD's verses have meaning and coherence. Then he jumps on and the shyt gets spaghettified and discombobulated. Feels like Eminem's forced inclusion was merely for fan service like how in an anime a female character would be partially nude to excite the mostly virgin audience.

the thing is, part of it DID fit the song. He had the whole section where he gave respect & RIP to some of the legends we have lost in the last year or so. It was the rest that we didn't need and all the extra bullshyt that came along with it

Imagine looking up pictures of someone you don't even know and the posting them on here, Twitter and everywhere else. Now whose derailing the thread to be a weirdo?

While I agree with your post the ironic thing is that Toure LOVES Nas and has defended both Nas and his beat selection several times.

Also its not worth it to be explaining to ANYONE why this guy’s review was flagrant as all hell and deserved EXACTLY the backlash it got. Anyone pretending they don’t understand under the too cool for school “bu bu but REVIEWS DON’T MATTER” bullshyt is simply lying or an idiot and not worth engaging with. A child could understand why quality Hip Hop music such as KD2 should be properly appreciated and the fact that there is such a DRAMATIC difference of opinion between, not only the so called “stans” but also other professional publications is indicative of an unfair bias against an artist which SHOULD be called out, scorned, and highlighted with all due prejudice
Bro I was going back and fourth with Toure on Twitter one day. I was shocked how much he was hating on Nas and defending Jay. Especially considering he did that interview with Nas. People be coming out the woods to hate on Nas. This was some months back.

My issue with the reviews is if it were Kings Disease 2 produced by Kanye West then these same publications (HHDX)would rate it higher. If Jayz rapped over these collection of beats, it would be marveled by pitchfork. What does Nas have to do to drop a universal critically acclaimed album?

He did just that but only We The People and Da Culture know it is. Not them shark ass culture vulture hacks at all them publications.

Jay is an industry player. These journalists like to be made to feel important and Jay plays their games. Nas be off in his own world. Peter Rosenberg hasn't recovered from when Nas as high and kept calling him Paul Rosenberg. He changed this top 5 after that interview. :dead:

Nah, that was not a serious narrative prior to Vlad repeating it over and over. People argued over the style of beats (boom bap vs "slick" for example) but they never said the beats were wack.
Nah, I remember that in real time LOOOONG before I even knew Vlad was a thing, since like 2006 or so. And to be honest...it was kinda right. HHID and Untitled don't exactly have the strongest production. It's not bad, but serviceable at best.

:mjlol:

It’s all opinions but you are flat out wrong. There’s nothing better about the first kings disease. Nas sounds way more polished on this. Better beat switches, better guest spots, better production, more concept tracks, better song writing, better hooks, better flows, better delivery etc. Honestly it’s not even close. One an appetizer, the other is the main course.

:yeshrug:

Once we get a King’s Disease III, that will be both seconds and dessert :banderas::ahh:

I don't know if it's a coli thing or what but when did natural hair become a c00n thing? I only see that on the coli but's it's a strong sentiment here...

he doesn't have an edge up at all his hair is natural. do you nikkaz thing about the shyt you advance into the world? Black natural hair is c00n shyt? :patrice:

go back couple decades and you would be calling Every Black man a c00n for not styling their hair and rocking natural fro:jbhmm:

I'm not defending this dude btw...
I don't use the word c00n to describe people. But in NY especially not getting a shape up is some weirdo corny shyt. Wear your hair as natural as you want but shape that shyt or you look messy/unkept otherwise. But yes, to question someone's Blackness over a hairstyle is stupid. I'm just questioning how hip or cool he is.
