I don't use the word c00n to describe people. But in NY especially not getting a shape up is some weirdo corny shyt. Wear your hair as natural as you want but shape that shyt or you look messy/unkept otherwise. But yes, to question someone's Blackness over a hairstyle is stupid. I'm just questioning how hip or cool he is.
I get all of that. His shyt def unkept but my issue is coli dudes always saying natural hair = sign of a c00n. That shyt is fukked

There's a weird obsession with hiding our nature and dissing our natural appearance. Its one thing if they saying comb your shyt, fix your self up but going to no edge = c00n is wild. No edge is natural :what:

Calling anyone a c00n for anything other than having difinitive proof of switching sides and working against Black people is prohibited and counter productive to Black unity.

In the pod episode above, Rory talks about being in LA in the same studio Hit Boy was in while he was doing a project. He texted Hit to see if he was around, he said come through. He walked in after getting through one security lady and it was just Nas and Hit in the studio and he heard the Lauryn raps on the speakers. Like he heard it first as they were putting it together

Oh wow dope thanks

Fanboys going too far because one man didn't like what they like with the same intensity. That shyt is corny. It's one man's opinion and it doesn't detract from your enjoyment. Just keep it moving.

Call a black man a fakkit and a c00n for not liking a Nas album:snoop:

fukk this peaceful march you're doing.
Nas fans is simply tired of being mlk.
They're on their malcolm x shyt and I get it
Nas is big enough for the media not to play with him. He's just too nonchalant n above it all

The media definitely knows which artists not to play with. And if you think the ferocity n rabidness of the fanbase doesn't play a role, you're being naive

We know for a fact the carters excercise their power behind the scenes.

We know for a fact kanye will call an office n scream at management

And the list goes on n on...

It used to hurt my heart when certain people didn't love Nas like i did. To see him universally loved and seemingly content with life at this moment brings a tear to my eye :sadbron::ahh:

I feel different...lol

I used to feel like "I get it you don't" and I like it that way

To me there's no fun in being a fan of a universally loved celebrity

Somebody called Nas the goat and the underdog. That description fits perfectly

You know what. That's interesting because that's a all nother subject. About how an artist like any enterprise or athlete can be defended by a lobby. Behind the beehives or the barbz you get in fact a protection you can really influenced an artist business and therefore money.
Beyonce gets away with a lot of shyts because the fans and médias are behind her. Jay got a show called takeover because hot 97 was fully behind Jay Z and they tried to steer off the narrative
That pitchfork writer would have never shyt on an Kanye or jay z project even if musically the project is bad just because these artists can pull the plugs on them (blackball them to go to big events and whatnot). That's how they swept Grammys by apply media pressure
Nas didn't really played the media game like that so maybe it's time to show white media nas have to be threaded like a big dog. And I'm not saying kissing his ass but being more respectful of his art.
The only thing I condemn is the physical slander and insults on the man. Only judge the work. And the media he's working with
