NY all day..Da Stead & BK..
The weak beats narrative started way before Vlad.

How was he trolling? I didn't go back that many pages but if it's just about a negative review I don't see what the issue is. I clicked on his other reviews to see what scores he typically gives and damn near near everything was a 6. That's his opinion and if he feels it's a 6 he shouldn't give it a 9.
Why are u speaking if u didn’t read his review? The review didn’t make sense. The same way that cat who reviewed KD1 last year on Rolling Stone was trolling and now he’s not even a writer anymore cause he got called out for it. The whole internet is flaming that cat for the review it ain’t only about “stans”.

Wow. Thought HipHop DX i.e the “black” publication would actually show a Hip Hop legend with a classic album some genuine love. They spent more time talking about Hit and Kanye’s feud than the goddamn album

I used to collect hella HipHopDX mags back in the early 10’s. I’m not surprised in the least bit at that review knowing their Kanye stannery :mjlol:

Nas and Kobe stans are a bizarre cult like group of a weirdos. bunch of brehs in here with nas avatars responding huffing and puffing to any critique. ready to kill a man for lowering the metacritic store like some DC fanboy incels. you can't make this shyt up

It’s sad. I can’t even share my opinion. They get so mad. That sales thread is pitiful. They in their rationalizing this flopped album lol.

Man I can give a fukk what he brag about but since you brought it up I'm going to hold the mirror to you stans face yall hypocrite.

Nas always talked about fly shyt, but it was to minimum and that's what yall hypocrite ass said why y'all can relate to 2pac and Nas because they didn't throw it in your face like Jay-Z or go overboard, right that's what y'all Stans used to say. Nas Escobar shyt we liked that shyt we knew he didn't have it like that but we listened to Nas for other shyt, and respected his creative way to express himself

I'm going to lay this verse right here after The Death of Escobar This is Nas on Zone Out "I'm six cribs deep, six bank accounts in six countries
Na I'm lyin', who gives a fukk that's so tired"

So nobody hating on Nas new success he deserves it, he worked hard we seen him damn near went bankrupt and he got it back, now he's in a different pay range, new friends. He should celebrate his accomplishment. Nas is a humble man and there was some shyt he held in and now he can finally say to his critic's over the years that always said well you ain't on Jay Z level financially he can say fukk you and floss on them, he letting hip hop know in his words that he was the one to stand up to Pac And I'm his Equal, Big, Mobb Deep, Jay Z didn't I did, that's my town, and talking that gangsta shyt, big Willie shyt

I mean do you muthafukkas listen to the words he saying or y'all Zombies, he told y'all he about to grow his own garden to smell his roses since muthafukkas don't give them out

Like I said this album is Nas beating his chest album. Nas was a humble dude but there was things he kept in and now he want his just due if you don't give it to me I'm going to remind you.

He have every right, but some shyt was out of character from him. When Pac beat his chest y'all said he was acting, calling him Bishop, well Nas on his bishop shyt and there's nothing wrong. He earned

"Did y'all actually listen to his words or zombies"

I hope the quote you brought up wasn't from the EPMD song??
If so, he said "I pick from my own garden!!!
And he's earned his right to talk shyt..

"They want me back in the day, this anit back in the day"

Been listening to dude since 92..

I want a video for Death Row East…it would be dope. Get some people that look similar to Nas, Pac, Jungle, Suge etc and have them reenact scenes that took place that night while the song plays.

Then end it with the actual video clip of Ed Lover announcing Pac death at Nas’s show. Nas probably won’t do it though but just a cool thought.

:wow:

I AM received 4.5 because The Source heard the OG version which got bootlegged heavy and Nas and Columbia went out and put new songs on it and we got the new version and The Mind Squad had to change the review and they criticize some of Nas choice's for songs but they didn't Change The Mic's rating. 4.5 Mics mean Superior, And I AM is not equal or better than IWW, I give it 4 Mics

And I don't have a problem with Street Disciple getting 4 Mics if they gave it 3.5 I wouldn't have problem because let's be honest, Fans and Hip Hop publications Especially The Source always give Nas the benefit of the doubt. Illmatic gave Nas a lifetime pass and he benefit from it greatly

Where is the proof that they rated the OG version? I always hear this on this website but no oneś ever able to bring proof. If you read the review there is not one song that was reviewed that was not on the retail album.
