It Hip Hop DX bless him with a 9+ that would be dope. I’m not even relying on Rolling Stone. They may pull the same bullshyt they did last year.

The reviewer last year doesn't work there anymore, maybe they look at last year's review and tries to rectify that godawful review from last year. RS may be cacified but at least they aren't as pretentious as bytchfork is.

First off KD2 is not a classic. (Great Album tho)

Second AINT NO WAY IN HELL!!!! KD2 is better than Stillmatic.

Son of y'all need to pump ya breaks.

The disrespect for God's Son is the real issue here.

I fukkin LOVE KD2.. but in no way does this album touch the lyrics, flows, concepts, personal depth that God's Son touch, ain't no way.

Besides zone out, God's Son is a no skip album. You could say the production is better on KD2 - MAYBE - but theres really no bad beats in GS.

Breh all you gotta do is say you gotta make a store run.

Sit in the Kroger parking lot with some headphones and vibe out to the album in peace…

If your wife asks you what took you so long tell her traffic was bad.

She’ll either believe you or think your cheating. Either way you won because you got to listen to the new Nas album and avoid your annoying ass in-laws for a spell

Top 3 that I think is pretty much etched in stone for me:

Illmatic
It Was Written
Lost Tapes

Next two would be:

Stillmatic
God's Son

I'm :flabbynsick: so I'm not sure if a new album will fukk up my top 5. But Untitled, LIG, LT2, KD1 and KD2 are all excellent albums to me as well. Next would be I Am and SD, I might be the only person who has 0 issues with SD as it is. Next Nastradamus, HHID and Nasir - I like those albums but they're the only albums I rarely return to.

I personally cant call it either way. Its hard to compare an album that just came out vs one I was listening too in high school with a throw back jersey on. Its just too soon. Ive got to let this cook at least a year before I even think about it. Gods son was flames for sure. All I will say is I feel higher on this a week in then I felt about Gods son a week in. I remember liking God son but not to the level I like this. Which doesnt matter. I loved Streets Disciple when it came out too:huhldup:

Bruh there's 2 groups in here Nas fan's like us and Nas Stans and I said the same thing you said. KD2 is a Great Album but Not a classic. Just because it's a great album it don't make it a classic

I'm a 2pac fan also to me MATW & 7 Day Theory Is a Classic but All Eyez On Me is not a Classic it have to many damn fillers to be a Classic, It's a Great Album but not a Classic but nevertheless it's his 3 Classic and is recognized as it from the critic's and hip hop

And that separate Fans from Stans, we are honest in our critique of the Artist we like and follow but as Fan's and hip hop head's we are not blind loyalist

I loved Street’s Disciple too. I was 16 at the time and although there were a few skips I played the shyt out of it. Nas was rapping his ass off. Now I look back on it the production just seemed quite flat was problem to me on a lot of it. Like Nazareth Savage is great. But the beat is missing something. Like it doesn’t knock enough as it should.
