I never claimed it was fact. I always claimed I’m this was a personal opinion. Folks been saying this though.

Lauryn had the best verse on the song (Nas was great too) but it’s comparing apples and oranges to me. Lauryn got 20 years of feelings to put down on paper. Long as you’re flow and delivery still on point, if you’re someone like Lauryn you’re going to drop a 10/10 verse particularly if subject matter about being away from the spotlight

Nas in that time written hundreds of verses so lot of thoughts already put down on paper for Nas.

This is the key to the door of understanding. Someone who is writing all the time vs someone who has had 20 years to put their experiences on paper. Nas has done what Lauryn did a million times by now. We need to just give shorty her flowers and keep it pushin.
