This is how I’m peeping this. Gonna start by rewatching this lox vs dipset…. Once I download it, listen to the whole album… I’m hoping not to cheat and read reviews on this board until I’m done. Once album is done, might be forced to read a couple reactions and then watch the video… might drop a line before taking my ass to sleep.. (if I can even sleep after listening to it).

I’ve said it before. I love KD. It’s a very solid 4/5 album and I’ve played that joint hundreds of times but it felt like a ‘safe album’. Does it have 5/5 joints? For sure like The Cure and Car #85 but I don’t think Nas and Hitboy took it to the levels they could. That’s not a diss I just think both could take it to another level and I honestly believe KD2 going to do that.

That’s why I loved Nasir. It took risks, and experimented with the samples. Did everything land correctly? No, but it’s good to try different things
